Aleksandra Brooks Master

I am a child psychologist supporting children aged 3 to 12 and their parents.

Every child is unique, and some experience the world with particular intensity. When a child is going through a difficult period, the whole family is often affected. My role is to help children better understand and regulate their emotions while supporting parents so they can feel more confident in their parenting and experience greater calm and balance in everyday family life.

I see parents as true partners in supporting their child. Gaining a deeper understanding of a child's inner world often strengthens the parent-child relationship and promotes the child's long-term emotional development. Depending on each family's needs, support may focus on the child, the parents, or both together.

I hold a Master's degree in Psychology and a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychological Assessment from SWPS University. I have gained experience working with children and families in a variety of settings, including a children's hospital, a preschool, a children's residential care home, and the Paediatric Department of Windsor Regional Hospital (Canada). I also engage in ongoing professional development to ensure that my work is informed by the latest scientific research.

I support children experiencing:

• high sensitivity;
• intense emotions or difficulties with emotional regulation;
• anxiety or fears;
• low self-esteem or lack of self-confidence;
• shyness;
• relationship and social difficulties.

I also work with parents who would like to better understand their child, strengthen the parent-child relationship, and receive support in navigating everyday parenting challenges.

I specialise in supporting highly sensitive children and hold the Highly Sensitive Child Practitioner certification.

My approach is integrative, combining evidence-based methods while adapting to the unique needs of each child and family.

Consultations are primarily offered in English and Polish. French-language consultations are also available in certain situations.
