Within 15 years work experience in various areas of psychotherapeutic treatment I was able to build up a vast pool of knowledge of how to support people in their struggles and how to help begin a transformational process. I am trained in a psychodynamic and systemic approach. Combining the two allows me to develop a deeper understanding of my clients' inner motivations and relationship patterns als well as shifting perspectives to find new approaches to solutions. I also frequently use imaginative techniques to reactivate resources and strengthen psychological stability. Working with inner parts can enrich the process, as can mindfulness-based methods, which have proven to be extremely helpful tools for developing more calm, clarity, and connection with oneself. I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a trauma treatment technique.

It is very important to me that my clients experience a trusting atmosphere in which they can freely discuss and express their worries. I approach my clients with great kindness, acceptance, and compassion and take confidentiality regarding the things we discuss in therapeutic sessions very seriously. Like that I intend to create a safe and protected environment in which my clients can grow the courage for change and develop visions for their future.

In recent years, I have specialized in working with LGBTIQ+ clients and further deepened my expertise in psychotrauma therapy. I especially welcome clients with these backgrounds!
