I am 46 years old and I am a systemic psychologist/psychotherapist. I work mainly with couples and families, but also with individuals. The people who have consulted me say that I am a gentle, calm person and that I am very invested in the interviews. They also say that I am atypical compared to the psychologist colleagues they have known, and that this characteristic is experienced in a very positive way for them. When I presented my family and personal history in my second year of postgraduate training in systemic psychology, one of the things that Ms. E. Goldbeter said to me was, "You sound like you're telling the story of a 70-year-old man, when you're only 36. You have done a lot of things in life...". Indeed, I am 46 years old and I am now a psychologist, a psychotherapist, since two years a lecturer at the University of Liege as an expert in psychology, a photographer and a musician, who puts together his different life experiences to try to make them useful in psychological meetings. I often use metaphor, humor, but also music, photography, and many other things in order to make the suffering situation presented to me as simple, clear, explicit and intelligible as possible for everyone. This collective understanding is often linked to the beginning of the resolution of the problem(s). When couples, families or individuals come to my office, I always explain to them certain points to which I pay particular attention: communication, emotions, family history, the feeling of justice and injustice experienced between people. Psychologue clinicienne diplômée de l’université Libre de Bruxelles, agréée par la Commission des Psychologues et détentrice du visa clinicien, je suis spécialisée dans le suivi d’enfants, d’adolescents et de familles. 

J’accompagne les jeunes et/ou leurs familles à retrouver de la créativité et du mouvement lorsqu’il est devenu difficile de bouger et de se penser. Mon orientation est systémique mais j’utilise aussi des outils d’autres courants et disciplines comme la psychologie humaniste, la gestalt, la TCC, le dessin ou encore le théâtre. 

Grâce à mes diverses formations et expériences professionnelles, j’ai approfondi mes connaissances sur :

– La neuroatypie (TSA, TDA/H, HP, etc) ; 

– Les troubles psychotiques ;

– Les troubles anxieux ;

– Les troubles de l’humeur ;

– Les problèmes relationnels (liés à la famille, au milieu scolaire…).

Systemic therapy teaches us that the symptom "says something" to members of the community (often the family and/or the social-professional milieu) in terms of changing relationships. When did the symptoms emerge? What was happening at that time in the environment, the relational context? What new events have disrupted the balance? The therapy will therefore be interested in present and past relationships in order to understand what, if anything, is being replayed in terms of adjusting emotional distances, affects that have been "affected" and that have triggered the appearance of difficulties, of "ill-being". Offering a guarantee of professional listening equipped by university training and experience is certainly important and primordial, it is the necessary condition for therapy, but in my opinion it is not sufficient. To offer a secure framework by creating a climate of confidence where the humanity which is in each one of us finds its rightful place, such is the state of mind of the consultation. A warm welcome, benevolence, kindness, empathy, non-judgment and unconditional respect for the patient's "experiences" while adopting an unconditional positive attitude towards the person, who he is, are the key words and milestones that must order the "patient-therapist" encounter.

Clinical psychologist graduated from UCLouvain, I specialize in the Person-Centered and Experiential approach founded by Carl Rogers (University certificate in PCPE at UCLouvain). My experiences in Belgium and abroad have been through contact with individuals with varied profiles, suffering from social isolation, with mood disorders or even with or without disabilities. I will support you in working through your difficulties and your personal journey. In work, among other things, anxiety, mourning, burnout, depressive feelings, isolation, search for meaning. My work is rooted in a humanist approach to therapeutic work which is expressed in the care I pay to empathy, unconditional positive consideration of the person and authenticity.

I consult every Monday afternoon from 1pm to 6pm at Rue de Tenbosch 85, office n°4. My main objective is to provide psychological support to my patients, using attentive and empathetic listening.

I am a psychologist who likes to enrich myself and explore the different dimensions of our human potential. My personal research and professional choices have put me in direct contact with different psychological approaches: group dynamics and organizational analysis, humanistic and mind-body approach, systemic analysis and therapeutic metaphor, sand tray, holistic massage, meditation, Tibetan yoga, positive psychology, art therapy, professional coaching. I also enjoy traveling and discovering different cultures (Europe, India, China, Tibet, Russia) and Eastern philosophy is part of my spiritual nourishment Admiring our human creativity, I have been involved in theater projects such as clowning and dancing, picked up brushes to play with the power of painting and dabbled in photography. Among my professional experiences, I have worked in the youth care sector with children, teenagers and families, in the disabled care sector with supervisory staff, in socio-professional integration with job seekers from different sectors of activity. I had the opportunity to write a career guidance program for women who wanted to work in so-called male professions. In parallel, I facilitated a private consultation and conducted interventions in asbl. In 2019, at 54 years old, I decided to create this project to accompany people and organized systems (entrepreneurs, services, small and medium-sized enterprises). This project is a synthesis of a rich and non-linear professional path. In terms of my values, I am guided by: - non-violence, inner disarmament, in fact I should speak of benevolence, but currently this word has too many different connotations and it leads to confusion in the social and economic world - dialogue and altruism : I combine these two values to give a direction to the dialogue and give it an operational aspect, a relational meaning: altruism - lifelong education - global responsibility for our words and actions. From this point of view, I move away from personal development focused only on the person. I am committed to a search for balance between private and professional life coupled with values such as patience, fair effort, tolerance, joy and taking global responsibility on an individual level. environmental responsibility: I would like to leave my children a place where they will be happy and where they can live in peace and flourish. These values intersect with my needs for freedom and fulfillment, creativity, harmony with others, inner peace, search for happiness, authenticity and fulfillment in my professional actions.
