Je suis psychologue clinicien et psychothérapeute, inscrit à la Commission des psychologues de Belgique. Après plus de trente ans d’expérience dans l’accompagnement et le développement humain en entreprise, depuis quelques années, je me consacre pleinement à la psychothérapie. J’accueille adolescents, adultes et couples confrontés à des difficultés variées : anxiété, phobies, troubles de l’humeur, perfectionnisme, expériences traumatiques, mais aussi mal-être diffus ou problèmes relationnels. Mon approche est intégrative, combinant la thérapie cognitivo-comportementale (TCC), centrée sur les pensées, émotions et comportements, et la thérapie brève systémique et stratégique, orientée vers le changement concret. Mon objectif est de proposer un accompagnement respectueux, efficace et adapté à chaque personne, afin de l’aider à retrouver équilibre et qualité de vie.

    I need a method of coping with anxiety and stress. I come to the point where the brain cannot find the way out and I start having physical problems with stomach issues. I know that everything is connected and I need advice how to deal with it.

    • Hello, there are medicines that help reducing anxiety. If relevant, your GP will advice you for that. But in the case that you would consider taking medicines, you should see that as a temporary help limited in the time. Therefore, I advise you to make an appointment with a psychologist-psychotherapist. There are effective psychotherapeutic methods to help people to learn new ways to cope with stress and anxiety. Cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy has proved to be effective for such disorder.
