I have a master's degree in osteopathy from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, which gives me the title of osteopath D.O. I will be happy to receive you for osteopathic consultations for adults. During my osteopathic studies, I followed courses from the Faculty of Medicine as well as courses given by doctors. This university training (which is the only one of its kind in Europe) has allowed me to develop solid scientific and psychological knowledge in order to offer safe osteopathic treatment adapted to the patient. I am therefore able to treat the following pathologies and refer the patient to the appropriate specialist if necessary: - Muscular and joint pain in general (back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, ...) - Certain headaches (migraine, tension headaches, ...) - Pain of nervous origin (sciatica, neuralgia, ...)

Bonjour, Je suis désolée que cette consultation vous ait laissé une impression négative. Je souhaite néanmoins apporter quelques précisions concernant son déroulement. Vous avez été reçus à l'heure prévue. Comme pour chacun de mes patients, je vous ai accueillis de manière bienveillante et j'ai pris le temps de réaliser une anamnèse afin de comprendre les difficultés et les antécédents de votre enfant. Lorsque nous avons commencé à préparer l'examen, votre enfant a malheureusement manifesté une forte détresse émotionnelle. J'ai alors tenté de le rassurer à plusieurs reprises en adaptant mes explications, en présentant la séance sous forme de jeux et en proposant différentes solutions pour l'apaiser. Malgré cela, son état ne permettait pas de poursuivre la consultation. J'ai donc fait le choix d'interrompre la séance plutôt que de le contraindre ou de réaliser un examen et un traitement alors qu'il était en souffrance. La priorité reste toujours le bien-être de l'enfant. Concernant les honoraires, le tarif habituel a été appliqué car le créneau de consultation avait été intégralement réservé pour votre enfant et ne pouvait pas être attribué à un autre patient au dernier moment. Par ailleurs, le temps consacré à l'anamnèse et à l'évaluation de la situation fait partie intégrante de la consultation, même lorsqu'un traitement ne peut finalement pas être réalisé. Je comprends que cette situation ait pu être frustrante pour vous et je reste à votre disposition si vous avez d’autres inquiétudes. Audrey Acke Ostéopathe D.O.
