He treats mainly the musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprain, tendinitis) but also the problems of digestion, jaw and stress. I only practice osteopathy in my office. Consultations are in French, English, Arabic or Armenian. I treat adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies).  After completing my physiotherapy studies at the Lebanese University, I came to Belgium to study osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body and human anatomy, I work as an assistant in the ULB functional anatomy laboratory, assisting medical students with practical anatomy work.

There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. For example, a common backache may result from excessive fatigue in the foot or a malfunctioning jaw. Similarly, would you ever have imagined that overloading the intestines can induce headaches? Our body is a machine with complex gears and countless transmission belts. Being able to find the right key to interpret when the warning light of pain turns on, identifying its origin, looking at the patient in all his complexity, and being able to guarantee him lasting benefit are the greatest satisfaction that this work can give me.

Mr. Tsalkitzis receives in the center of Charleroi. His therapeutic approach turn around three axes inseparable from each other : - structural: is interested in musculoskeletal and joint complexes. - visceral : the visceral system is governed by the neuro-vegetative system. The purpose of the visceral work is to release some mobility restrictions and also to check the links with the column. - the functional and the craniosacral : these techniques are based on the work of the fascias.

Alicia Absil is an osteopath with several experiences. Expert in general, pediatric and perinatal osteopathy, she conducts her consultations in French and English. Punctual, she receives her patients in a clean room for various consultations: lumbago, cervical pain, migraine, jaw problem, costal pain, stress management and back problem. Impliquée dans le sport depuis un très jeune âge, j'ai toujours été passionnée par le corps humain et ses réactions face aux blessures et dérèglements dont il peut être affecté. Très vite, j'ai été attirée par la kinésithérapie pour le contact humain et cet attrait du corps. J'ai ensuite voulu m'orienter vers l'ostéopathie pour son approche plus holistique, la prise en considération du patient dans sa globalité, en être entièrement à l'écoute pour l'aider au mieux.

After completing his studies in physiotherapy at UCL in 2016, Valérian De Clerck continued his academic career with 5 years of osteopathy at the IAO. He has been practicing in Gembloux as a D.O osteopath since 2021. He makes a point of first considering the medical aspect of his examination of the patient, before providing an osteopathic response only if it is relevant.
