Hoe deze werking precies tot stand komt is niet duidelijk maar ligt in de embryologische ontwikkeling van de mens. Rond embryologische gehooringang ontstaan de hersenen en de directe zenuwbanen naar de hersenen daardoor ontstaat de voortgeleiding van een prikkel in een apart geleidingsnetwerk bij acupunctuur.
  • Ooracupunctuur is evenals lichaamsacupunctuur een behandeling met een algemeen regulerend karakter. Dit uit zich in een vermindering van de klachten en een verbetering van de algemene homeostase.
  • Met deze therapie zijn er heel wat klachten te behandelen en/of kunnen ONDERSTEUNENDE werking geven bij andere therapie. Een van de populairste toepassing van de ooracupunctuur is natuurlijk de anti-rookbehandeling. Overige verslavingsprogramma's zijn obesitas/vetzucht, alcohol en medicijnen.
  • Psychologische punten kunnen we behandelen omdat de patiënt 24 uur voor de behandeling stoppen moet met roken. De psychologische invloed van de behandeling wordt hierdoor veel groter. Het succes op korte termijn van de anti-rookbehandeling bedraagt 80%.
