I am Dhana De Ville and have been working as a clinical psychologist since 2001. In 2008 I was part of the team of primary psychologists from Aalst. My former employers are Uz Gent (2001), Asz Aalst (2008) and CAW De Visserij Gent (2008).

After a few years of practice, I believe that we offer a better quality of listening and presence to those who are at the interaction of our interests and our clinical experience. This is why I prefer to see adolescents and adults with a strong artistic sensibility, but who suffer from depression, anxiety and eating disorders, which are all invisible vulnerability factors; and I am happy to listen to people who have experienced a history of violence, which impacts their emotional and professional choices as well as their self-esteem.

Psychologue clinicienne je propose des consultations individuelle à toute personne (adulte) en souffrance et/ou désireuse d’un changement. Ma pratique clinique s’appuie sur l’ICV, thérapie basée sur les neurosciences. Elle est indiquée en cas de traumatismes (accident, agression, antécédents de maltraitances ou négligences précoces …), en cas de symptômes handicapants (anxiété, difficile gestion des émotions, addiction …) ou de problèmes relationnels (conflits, faible estime de soi …)

Psychologue du travail, je peux également vous accompagner pour des problématiques d'ordre professionnelles (stress au travail, violences internes ou externes, épuisement professionnel etc…)

je suis psychologue clinicienne et je travaille avec des adultes dès l’âge de 18 ans.

En effet, je pense que pouvoir parler de ses émotions ainsi que de ses difficultés dans un cadre bienveillant, où le non-jugement, le respect de l’autre et le secret professionnel règnent, permet d’apaiser certaines souffrances et d’apprendre à comprendre ses ressentis ainsi que son fonctionnement.

Mon objectif est de créer une alliance thérapeutique dans laquelle vous vous sentirez écouté·e et dans laquelle les aléas de la vie pourront être abordés (maladie, décès, parentalité, stress, anxiété, burn-out, dépression, sexualité, difficultés relationnelles et affectives, rupture/divorce, addictions, etc.).

J’accueille avec plaisir toute personne désireuse d’apprendre à mieux se connaître. Mon travail se fonde sur la singularité de chacun·e et se fera à l’aide de vos ressources, mais également de vos limites.

A psychologist by training, I began training in hippotherapy and animal mediation at the beginning of my master's degree. During my studies I was particularly interested in issues such as harassment, palliative care, parenthood and disability. I continue to educate myself in these different areas through various trainings. I work in a therapy center from Monday to Saturday in Chaumont-Gistoux and in parallel I participate in the implementation and supervision of the pedagogical project of the Asbl Rire et grandir which welcomes children from 0 to 5 years old.
