Psychologist Lise Stockx is part of the multidisciplinary group practice Think Outside in Gavere-Asper. She is a clinical psychologist and works with children, adolescents and adults. From an early age, she had a special interest in stories. She read one book after the other and when she learned to write in the first grade, she started writing her own stories. As she grew older, this interest developed into a curiosity about the doings of people and the stories of individuals. This was the reason for her to study psychology.
You can contact her when you have the feeling that you are stuck, that you have lost your overview or that you can no longer find a thread that gives you something to hold on to (by mourning, loss, trauma, depression, ...). Together with you, she wants to look for that overview again, for new perspectives and for your thread. She does this by following your story and needs, as a travel companion with a gentle, listening ear and a great, genuine curiosity.
By working creatively and experientially (for example through images, music, movement, psychodrama, ...) she makes with you the step from talking to feeling. In this way you get to know yourself in new ways and step by step we come closer to your strength. You can consider the therapy room as a safe place to experiment with this.
