I am a clinical psychologist, trained in victimology and psycho-traumatology and in continuing education in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In parallel to my consultation, I work in the Mental Health Service of the Province of Brabant Wallon in Tubize with adults and adolescents. As a person and a psychologist, I have always valued listening and empathy. Thus, the welcome and the non-judgmental attitude that I guarantee to my patients, allow me to create a secure relationship with them, characterized by benevolence. My practice is characterized by the use of various tools such as relaxation, anchoring and self-hypnosis techniques. The patient can learn to use these tools to work through his or her emotions and experience them more serenely. The establishment of a trusting and collaborative relationship between the patient and myself is essential in order for us to work together. In this way, the support that I will offer the patient will allow him/her to have a space where he/she can free his/her speech and verbalize his/her emotions, so that we can make sense of what he/she is going through. The change that the patient wants to achieve and the setting of objectives according to his initial request, as well as the realization of new experiences in a secure place, will be at the center of the care that I propose to offer him.

▪ BIENVENUE : Au sein de ma pratique je propose un suivi individuel personnalisé axé sur une approche psychothérapeutique de type cognitivo-comportementale (TCC).

J’accompagne des adultes dans la traversée de situations diverses : dépression, chocs émotionnels, anxiété, phobies, TOC, difficultés d’estime et d'affirmation de soi, difficultés de communication, pertes de sens, etc. Les personnes LGBTQIA+ sont les bienvenues et accueillies sans jugement.

Le but de ma pratique est de vous accompagner dans un travail visant à modifier concrètement, dans « l’ici et maintenant », les comportements que vous considérez comme problématiques dans votre vie quotidienne.

Vos objectifs de changement seront définis au terme d’un dialogue et d’une analyse des facteurs qui contribuent au maintien (le comment) et à l’apparition (le pourquoi) du ou des comportements problématiques. Je vous accompagnerai dans la formulation de ces objectifs, réalistes et concrets, en tenant compte de votre bien-être, à moyen et à long terme, et de la qualité de vos relations avec autrui.

Les séances de psychothérapie vont également vous aider à comprendre votre fonctionnement actuel et à découvrir vos propres ressources pour les mettre au service du changement souhaité. Dans ce but, nous allons nous centrer sur vos émotions et vos pensées automatiques liées à votre vécu actuel, tout en tenant compte de votre expérience passée et de vos anticipations futures.

Margot Bouguet receives adolescents, adults and seniors on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Psy 503, a group of mental health professionals who offer a place to listen, support and provide a safe place to explore what is causing suffering in your life. Ma pratique est « intégrative » : je m’appuie sur le courant systémique et l’approche humaniste, tout en y ajoutant des outils TCCE et de l’hypnose en fonction de vos besoins. Je travaille également beaucoup avec les émotions, la thérapie ACT et différents médias (livre, image, vidéo, métaphore, Dixit, ...).
