Psychologue clinicienne passionnée, je propose des consultations individuelles destinées aux adolescents et aux adultes. Mon objectif est d’offrir un espace bienveillant, sécurisant et respectueux, où chacun peut venir se déposer et bénéficier d’un accompagnement face aux difficultés personnelles qu’il traverse.

Mon approche thérapeutique repose sur l’écoute active, avec une attention portée au contexte relationnel, familial et environnemental dans lequel s’inscrit chaque personne. Le travail thérapeutique est pour moi avant tout une rencontre, unique et empreinte d’humanité, entre le/la thérapeute et le/la patient.e. C’est dans cet espace que peut se construire, à son rythme, une rencontre authentique avec soi-même. Je souhaite que mes consultations puissent devenir un lieu d’accueil et de soutien, favorisant l’expression de ce qui pèse, mais aussi l’émergence de nouvelles perspectives.

J’accompagne des personnes confrontées à diverses problématiques telles que l’anxiété, la dépression, les difficultés relationnelles et familiales, les troubles alimentaires, les vécus traumatiques ou encore les périodes de transition et de remise en question.

Parallèlement à mon activité en cabinet, je travaille dans un Service Résidentiel Général (SRG) auprès d’adolescents placés par l’Aide à la Jeunesse ou la Protection de la Jeunesse. Cette expérience enrichit ma pratique quotidienne : elle me permet de mieux comprendre les réalités complexes des jeunes, leurs fragilités, mais aussi leurs ressources et leur capacité de résilience.

Je suis titulaire du VISA et de l’agrément de psychologue délivrés par le SPF Santé Publique, ce qui garantit l’exercice d’une profession réglementée dans le domaine des soins de santé. En tant que membre de la Commission belge des psychologues, mes consultations peuvent être partiellement remboursées selon les modalités de votre mutuelle.

Florence Hougardy welcomes you at the Centre Mimosa (25 avenue de la Forêt de Soignes, 1640 Rhode-Saint-Genèse) on Friday afternoons from 2pm to 7pm and the rest of the week at her private practice (51, avenue des Cèdres, Rhode-Saint-Genèse) for psychological appointments. The price of a consultation is 50€ for 45 min (teenager/adult) or 40€ for 30 min (child under 13). You are in good hands.

Suite à des études de psychologie à l’Université libre de Bruxelles j’ai d’abord exercé en entreprise. L’humain ayant toujours été un point central à ma pratique, j’ai décidé d’en faire ma priorité. Je vous propose donc un suivi thérapeutique répondant aux problématiques liées non seulement au monde du travail mais également à celui de l'école. Je prends donc en charge les adultes ainsi que les adolescents et étudiants. Mon approche peut être divisée en différents axes. Enfin, j'aborde également les problématiques liées à l'estime de soi, l'anxiété ou encore la gestion des émotions que ça soit en milieu professionnel ou non. Je propose un accompagnement adapté avec des solutions durables dans le temps.

Psychologue clinicienne diplômée de l’université Libre de Bruxelles, agréée par la Commission des Psychologues et détentrice du visa clinicien, je suis spécialisée dans le suivi d’enfants, d’adolescents et de familles. 

J’accompagne les jeunes et/ou leurs familles à retrouver de la créativité et du mouvement lorsqu’il est devenu difficile de bouger et de se penser. Mon orientation est systémique mais j’utilise aussi des outils d’autres courants et disciplines comme la psychologie humaniste, la gestalt, la TCC, le dessin ou encore le théâtre. 

Grâce à mes diverses formations et expériences professionnelles, j’ai approfondi mes connaissances sur :

I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology from Lewis & Clark College (Portland, OR, USA) and a master's degree in clinical psychology and psychopathology from the Université libre de Bruxelles (Brussels, Belgium). I am in the process of obtaining an additional master's degree in neuropsychology and am training in family and systemic psychotherapy. I offer individual, couple or family follow-up on Monday mornings in Mérode and Thursday afternoons/evenings in Messidor. I also offer consultations at home or by videoconference in certain cases individuals (perinatal care, reduced mobility, hospitalization, etc.) Consultations in French and English, by appointment. Psychologist specializing in neuropsychology. I mainly support children and adolescents with cognitive, behavioral and/or academic difficulties (ADHD, HPI, learning disabilities), as well as their parents. I also accompany university students for work methodology sessions. I carry out intellectual, attentional and/or neuropsychological assessments for children/teenagers and adults. I have a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology obtained from the Free University of Brussels in 2021, and a master's degree in Neuropsychology obtained from the University of Maastricht in 2022. I attach great importance to continuing education in order to continue to learn new things and improve my practice. I am trained in parental guidance (CPIM), in mental management and metacognition (work methodology), and I am currently completing a 2-year university course at the University of Liège in Cognitive Intervention. I worked as a neuropsychologist in a primary healthcare center in Namur in 2022 following an internship in infant-juvenile neuropsychology, and I have currently been practicing since January 2023 in a multidisciplinary neuropediatric center (La Manivelle) in Brabant Walloon.
