  Hello, I’m in pain due to a grief of loss. What can I take to relieve heart pain?

    I'm very sorry for your loss. Grief can be deeply painful, and it is not uncommon for emotional pain to be felt physically, including as a heavy or aching sensation in the chest.
    
    There is no medication that can remove the pain of grief itself. If you experienced severe chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or pain spreading to your arm or jaw, I hope you sought medical attention promptly to rule out a physical cause.
    
    If the pain you described is related to bereavement, it often becomes more manag...eable when it is acknowledged and shared rather than carried alone. Speaking with a trusted person or a mental health professional can help you process your loss and find ways to cope with the difficult emotions.
