DO osteopath, I hold a Master's degree in Osteopathy, graduated from the European School of Osteopathy (United Kingdom, Maidstone). During my four years of training, I practiced as an osteopath in a University Clinic with patients from the age of 3 weeks to 90 years old. In private practice, I care for adults, seniors, children, babies and pregnant women. I adapt my sessions according to the patient, their individual needs, the origin of their pain and their lifestyle. Through gentle and appropriate manipulations, I work on the patient's entire body to relieve them and improve their quality of life, so that they can return to their activities/daily life as quickly/comfortably as possible. I consult in French, English and Spanish. For emergencies: you can contact the secretariat on 02/850.69.12. Price: 60€. I am approved by mutual insurance companies, which allows you to obtain a reimbursement of part of the price of the consultation.

Hi, I have a small Hernia (L5-S1) which pushes on the sciatic nerve. The pain is now extended to the knee/calf/foot. Which is the specialist I should get in contact with?
- Hello,
  If a specialist has diagnosed you with a L5-S1 herniated disc you can go to an osteopath to seek pain management. The osteopath will use a set of techniques with the aim of decreasing the mechanical load of your lower back to reduce the pain and inflammation of the affected segment. The osteopath can also give you a few exercises to do at home.
  However, if you have't seen any specialist for this yet you will need to answer a few questions and undergo a simple neurological exam (e.g reflexes and muscle strength) which can be done by your doctor, physiotherapist or osteopath to confirm the diagnosis and know the extent of th...e injury. Once this is done the specialist will advise you of the next step to take for an optimal management.
