Ik ben Bart Brackx, psychologisch consulent en verslavingsdeskundige met een passie voor het begeleiden van mensen in hun persoonlijke groei. Vanuit mijn ervaring in het Militair Hospitaal Koningin Astrid (MHKA) en het Centrum voor Verslavingszorg (CMilA) ondersteun ik cliënten met uiteenlopende hulpvragen rond verslaving, stress, trauma en veerkracht.

Naast mijn werk met volwassenen begeleid ik ook kinderen en jongeren rond emoties, faalangst, gedrags- en schoolproblemen. Ik werk steeds op maat, in een veilige en warme omgeving, en betrek waar nodig ook de ouders of het gezin.

Mijn aanpak is oplossingsgericht en evidence-based, met oog voor zowel inzicht als praktische stappen. Door mijn achtergrond als Human Factors Trainer binnen Defensie besteed ik extra aandacht aan motivatie, zelfinzicht en duurzame gedragsverandering.

Mijn doel is om cliënten te helpen hun veerkracht te versterken en opnieuw grip te krijgen op hun leven – stap voor stap, in hun eigen tempo.

As an educator and systemic therapist, I will welcome you (alone, as a couple or as a family) in a setting that I hope will be secure enough for you to confidentially and confidently share your questions about the difficulties you are experiencing (relational, behavioral or emotional). For more than ten years, I have worked as an educator in a residential center for children and adolescents where many families and young people who were experiencing complex and difficult situations were welcomed. I consider my experience as an educator and family worker trained in the systemic approach and family therapy ( CEFORES - UCL), as well as my personal life path as a toolbox that I put at your disposal. I will be at your side to accompany and support you for as long as you feel necessary. For that, together, we will be brought to look at your family history, past and present, common and individual, to question your relational modes and patterns (often inherited from previous generations) and to open sometimes an emotional and symbolic dimension through therapeutic "games" that you will analyze in my company. I hope to allow you a better understanding of your situation in order to achieve the changes you wish.
