Mr. Jeromy Hrabovecky is a psychologist and neuropsychologist graduated from the Free University of Brussels. He specializes in emotions and mood, cognitive assessments and trauma. Holder of masters' degrees in Psychology, neuropsychology and Victimology and Psycho-traumatology, he will accompany you in his office located at Central Station, Rue des Colonnies 11.

Bonjour à toutes et à tous, je suis psychologue clinicienne et je travaille avec des adultes dès l’âge de 18 ans. Une citation que j’aime beaucoup : « Mettre des mots sur ses maux ». En effet, je pense que pouvoir parler de ses émotions ainsi que ses difficultés dans un cadre bienveillant ; où non-jugement, respect de l’autre, secret professionnel règnent, permet d’apaiser certaines souffrances et d’apprendre à comprendre ses ressentis ainsi que son fonctionnement. Mon objectif est de créer une alliance thérapeutique dans laquelle vous vous sentirez écouté et dans laquelle les aléas de la vie pourront être abordés (maladie, décès, stress, anxiété, burn-out, dépression, sexualité, difficultés relationnelles et affectives, rupture, divorce, addictions, etc.). J’accueille avec plaisir toute personne désireuse d’apprendre à mieux se connaître. Ma pratique clinique s’appuie sur l’ICV (Intégration du Cycle de la Vie), thérapie basée sur les neurosciences. Elle est indiquée en cas de traumatismes (accident, agression, antécédents de maltraitances et de négligences précoces, …), en cas de symptômes handicapants (trouble anxieux, difficulté dans la gestion des émotions, addiction, …) ou en cas de difficultés relationnelles (deuil, conflits, faible estime de soi, …)

Formée à la psychologie du travail je peux également vous accompagner pour des problématiques d’ordre professionnelles (stress au travail, violences internes ou externes, épuisement professionnel etc…)

Bonjour, je vous propose un accompagnement à votre rythme par visioconférence ou à mon cabinet à Winston Churchill. Cet accompagnement est personnalisé et se base sur les derniers outils scientifiques à la pointe en psychologie clinique. Les psychothérapies et les sexothérapies vous sont proposées dans un cadre individuel et bienveillant. J’ai eu la chance de me former à l’UCL et l’ULB, ce qui me donne une vision globale, chaque université ayant des approches théoriques complémentaires. Criminologue de formation au départ, j’ai travaillé avec un public très précarisé (sans-abris, personnes toxicomanes et alcooliques, détenus) dans la réinsertion sociale. J’ai a vécu un an et demi aux Açores, l’archipel portugais, où j’ai travaillé dans la recherche universitaire, puis comme intervenante psycho-sociale auprès des personnes d’origine portugaise déportées des États-Unis vers les Açores. De retour en Belgique, je suis devenue chef de projets à l’IRSA (Institut Royal pour Sourds et Aveugles) où j’ai encadré une équipe éducative, des assistants sociaux et des psychologues au sein du département Surdité. J’étais responsable d’un groupe d’une petite centaine d’enfants sourds et malentendants de 6 à 18 ans. Durant cette période, j’ai également accompli un certificat en Droits de l’enfant à l’UCL. Après un bref passage à la commune de Saint-Gilles en tant que responsable pédagogique au sein du service petite enfance et santé publique, j’ai décidé de me réorienter et de reprendre un Master en psychologie clinique à l’UCL. J’ai travaillé durant cette reprise d’études aux Urgences psychiatriques de Sainte Élisabeth et au Planning Familial de la Free Clinic. J’ai complété ma formation de psychologue clinicienne orientée Thérapies Cognitives et Comportementales (3ème vague) et d'orientation systémique par un certificat en sexologie clinique appliquée. Depuis, j’utilise essentiellement la Pleine Conscience et la Thérapies d’Acceptation et d’Engagement. J'ai, par la suite, été certifiée hypnothérapeute PTR (psychothérapie du trauma réassociative) et je pratique l'hypnose conversationnelle et stratégique.

I have a degree in Psychological and Pedagogical Sciences (ULB-1994), and I completed my university career with a Certificate in Psychotherapeutic Clinics (ULB-1995). In order to be able to respond in a personalized and efficient way to requests, I continued to train myself in the tools of brief therapy both for individual sessions (LPNL, hypnosis, EFT, logosynthesis, ..) and for couple sessions (positive psycho-sexology).

Titulaire d’un master en psychologie clinique, je me spécialise en psychothérapie systémique. J'accompagne enfants, adolescents, adultes et familles en proposant des suivis thérapeutiques centrés sur les dynamiques relationnelles et familiales.

Systemic therapy teaches us that the symptom "says something" to members of the community (often the family and/or the social-professional milieu) in terms of changing relationships. When did the symptoms emerge? What was happening at that time in the environment, the relational context? What new events have disrupted the balance? The therapy will therefore be interested in present and past relationships in order to understand what, if anything, is being replayed in terms of adjusting emotional distances, affects that have been "affected" and that have triggered the appearance of difficulties, of "ill-being". Offering a guarantee of professional listening equipped by university training and experience is certainly important and primordial, it is the necessary condition for therapy, but in my opinion it is not sufficient. To offer a secure framework by creating a climate of confidence where the humanity which is in each one of us finds its rightful place, such is the state of mind of the consultation. A warm welcome, benevolence, kindness, empathy, non-judgment and unconditional respect for the patient's "experiences" while adopting an unconditional positive attitude towards the person, who he is, are the key words and milestones that must order the "patient-therapist" encounter.

I am 46 years old and I am a systemic psychologist/psychotherapist. I work mainly with couples and families, but also with individuals. The people who have consulted me say that I am a gentle, calm person and that I am very invested in the interviews. They also say that I am atypical compared to the psychologist colleagues they have known, and that this characteristic is experienced in a very positive way for them. When I presented my family and personal history in my second year of postgraduate training in systemic psychology, one of the things that Ms. E. Goldbeter said to me was, "You sound like you're telling the story of a 70-year-old man, when you're only 36. You have done a lot of things in life...". Indeed, I am 46 years old and I am now a psychologist, a psychotherapist, since two years a lecturer at the University of Liege as an expert in psychology, a photographer and a musician, who puts together his different life experiences to try to make them useful in psychological meetings. I often use metaphor, humor, but also music, photography, and many other things in order to make the suffering situation presented to me as simple, clear, explicit and intelligible as possible for everyone. This collective understanding is often linked to the beginning of the resolution of the problem(s). When couples, families or individuals come to my office, I always explain to them certain points to which I pay particular attention: communication, emotions, family history, the feeling of justice and injustice experienced between people. Focusing on these different points is often a key to solving the problem...
