I am a psychologist registered in both Belgium and Sweden. I work remotely for a hospital in Sweden and have recently opened my private practice in Brussels. In my work I mainly use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), metacognitive therapy (MCT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), although I enjoy borrowing techniques from other evidence-based approaches. My job is to create a safe place where you can feel accepted, respected, and understood. I value clear communication, structure, and consider my work done when you walk away with a clear understanding of your problem, how it is maintained, and what to do in order to change your situation for the better. I work with adults and adolescents (16+), both online and in person. I can also help caregivers manage challenging behaviour in small children (although I do not work with children directly). I don't work with personality disorders, eating disorders and addiction. I don't do neuropsychological assessments for ADHD and autism. My office is located near metro Schuman, in front of the Berlaymont building. My languages of practice are Swedish, English, and Russian. I do NOT speak either French nor Dutch. NB! In person-appointments can only be booked on Tuesdays. On other days please choose "Video consultation" when booking.
