I will welcome you to the office, armed with a specialized master's degree in osteopathy delivered by the Free University of Brussels (6 years). This quality teaching, provided in close collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and including joint courses with future physiotherapists and physical educators, allows me to ensure diagnosis and management of your pain and dysfunctions in complete safety. The techniques acquired during my university studies and during my various training courses allow me to adapt to each of you and thus find the osteopathic practices that suit you best (gentle, structural, myofascial, visceral, etc.). Taking care of you as a whole, I am interested in your reason for consultation with emphasis on the structural and functional integrity of your body. I also make a point of answering all your questions so that you leave with plenty of advice. In addition to my services within the Center for Conceptionists, I also work as an assistant in the Functional Anatomy Laboratory at ULB. In this laboratory, I teach practical anatomy work to students from the Faculty of Motor Sciences and carry out a thesis.

Hi, I have a small Hernia (L5-S1) which pushes on the sciatic nerve. The pain is now extended to the knee/calf/foot. Which is the specialist I should get in contact with?
You should consider consulting with an orthopedic specialist, neurologist, and an osteopath to address your hernia-related concerns, nerve pain, and explore complementary approaches for management. These specialists can provide a comprehensive evaluation and recommend appropriate treatments for your condition. Always consult healthcare professionals for personalized advice based on your specific situation.

Hello, my shoulder is about a few centimeters out of place since i landed on it strangely. My question is how serious this can be since I still have full range of motion although it does feel unstable in certain positions when I do sports and which doctor I need to see to put it back into place.
Based on the information you've provided, it's possible that you have experienced a shoulder dislocation. This occurs when the upper arm bone becomes dislodged from the socket in the shoulder blade. Even if you are still able to move your arm freely, it's important to seek medical attention to assess the extent of the injury and to prevent any potential long-term damage. You should consider consulting with a specialist such as an orthopedic doctor or a sports medicine professional, who can conduct a thorough examination of your shoulder. They may also use imaging tests such as X-rays to better understand the nature of your injury,... and to provide you with the most appropriate treatment options. In the meantime, it's recommended that you avoid any activities that may exacerbate your injury, and keep your arm as still as possible. You may also find it helpful to apply cold packs to the affected area to alleviate any swelling or discomfort. Read more
