Doctor Mathieu Raad, Orthopedist, welcomes you to the Waterloo Medical Space, located Chaussée de Bruxelles 325, in Waterloo. You can make an appointment on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Consultations can take place in English, French and Dutch. A dynamic and passionate orthopedist, I left to complete my training abroad, in Geneva and Bordeaux, in the field of hip and knee in sports patients. Orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist graduated from the UCL, specialized in the pathology of the hand/forearm/elbow and peripheral nerves. Consultation by appointment at the Saint Jean clinics (Brussels city), at the Cinquantenaire medical group (Brussels - Woluwe-Saint-Lambert), or in private consultation (Wezembeek-Oppem).

I graduated in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology in 2007 at the UCL, with additional training at the CHU Pellegrin Bordeaux and at the Cochin Hospital in Paris. I am installed at the Grand Hopital de Charleroi since 2008. Specialist in Spine and Hip Surgery, graduate "DIU" in Spine Surgery in Paris, I am a member of the Spine Commission/SSBE, the European Spine Society (eurospine) and the French Spine Surgery Society (SFCR). Orthopaedic surgeon recognized by the Université Libre de Bruxelles since 2010, I am specialized in degenerative, traumatic and sports shoulder surgery. My main activity is within the orthopaedic surgery team of the Ambroise Paré hospital in Mons. You can also consult me in Spiennes and Jemappes for my private activities.

Le Dr Ferchichi est un chirurgien orthopédiste spécialisé dans les pathologies du membre supérieur, avec une expertise particulière en chirurgie de l’épaule par Arthroscopie.

Après avoir exercé comme spécialiste au CHU Brugmann, où il prenait en charge des cas d’orthopédie et de traumatologie générale, il a poursuivi sa formation dans l’une des meilleures cliniques privées de Lausanne (Suisse) pendant un an et demi.

Il y a perfectionné sa pratique arthroscopique et développé une maîtrise avancée des techniques modernes de chirurgie de l’épaule.

Il traite aujourd’hui l’ensemble des affections de l’épaule, parmi lesquelles :

·        Tendinopathie calcifiante

·        Bursite

·        Conflit sous-acromial

·        Luxation acromio-claviculaire

·        Fracture proximale de l’humérus.

Toujours engagé dans le perfectionnement continu de son savoir-faire, le Dr Ferchichi participe régulièrement à des congrès mais aussi aux formations internationales de haut niveau. Il a notamment suivi l’AO Shoulder and Elbow Master Course 2025 et pris part à de nombreux Laboratoires à Letchworth, Munich, Athènes, Madrid, Vérone et Lausanne.

His clinical and scientific activity is oriented towards foot and ankle surgery and traumatology.
