Neuropsychologists near Haasrode

I am a clinical psychologist specializing in Neuropsychology, graduated from the Free University of Brussels. Having worked for several years with children and adolescents with specific needs, I promote hand-in-hand support with parents for the child's development. I offer verbal and/or non-verbal intellectual assessments, complete neuropsychological assessments with attentional assessment, executive assessment and instrumental assessment in order to highlight possible attentional disorders or learning disorders in children, adolescents and adults. I also offer support to find methods together to overcome the difficulties encountered by your child. Concerning adults, we can implement strategies together to allow you to function more effectively in daily life. Finally, being a follower of a global approach in my follow-ups, I attach as much importance to the psycho-affective situation of the patient as to his cognitive skills, his family and school/professional environment have a certain influence in his development and it is important to take this into account. I also receive parents for support in parenting with children with special needs. Finally, I offer follow-ups in French, English and Turkish.

The neuropsychologist Sébastien Degeert evaluates psychological functioning. He works with patients who have pathologies or lesions of the central nervous system such as a stroke, a head injury, a neurodegenerative pathology, an encephalitis or meningitis infection, a brain tumor, etc. He also treats patients whose difficulties are not directly related to a central nervous system disorder: learning disabilities, developmental disorders, attention disorders, psychopathological disorders, etc. He will receive you on Wednesdays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Espace Pluridys practice in Uccle, on Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Psycho-Meiser practice in Schaerbeek, and finally on Mondays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Psycho-Mettewie practice.

Je suis diplômée de l’Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), d'un master spécialisé en neuropsychologie et développement cognitif.

J’accompagne les enfants, adolescents, adultes et seniors, à travers des bilans cognitifs dans une approche scientifique, bienveillante et individualisée.

Je propose :

• Évaluations neuropsychologiques complètes (mémoire, attention, fonctions exécutives, etc.)
• Bilans intellectuels (QI)
• Bilans attentionnels  suspicion TDA(H)
• Programmes de remédiation cognitive adaptés à chaque profil.

Mon objectif est d’aider chacun à mieux comprendre son fonctionnement et à développer ses ressources pour améliorer sa qualité de vie au quotidien.

Diplômé de l’Université de Montréal et de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles en neuropsychologie, je suis spécialisé dans le TDAH chez l'adolescent et l'adulte. J'accompagne les adultes et adolescents dans l’évaluation de leurs fonctions cognitives.

Mon approche est fondée sur des preuves scientifiques (« Evidence-Based »), c’est pourquoi une grande partie de mon travail consiste à me former en continu et à rester à jour sur les avancées récentes de la neuropsychologie clinique.
