With 9 years of practice in a medical center, I have enriched my practice with exchanges with my colleagues doctors, nurses, psychologists,... Through my various trainings, I have specialized in the treatment of joint, muscle and nerve pain (sciatica, cervicobrachialgia,...), pregnancy support and respiratory kinesiology for babies. I followed the 2 year certificate in manual therapy at UCL and other trainings (Trigger Points, Maitland, Stecco Fasciatherapy, Mulligan, neurodynamics,...) which give me many strings to my bow to help you with your back pain, neck, shoulder, knee, headaches, osteoarthritis,... Physiotherapy, for me, is a collaborative work with the patient. I like to share my knowledge of the body and its pathologies to help you better understand and manage your pain. Passionate about pregnancy, I accompany mothers and couples to prepare for childbirth. My goal is to give them the necessary resources and advice concerning breathing, labor positions, effective pushing,... Graduated with a master in physiotherapy from the Leonardo da Vinci / Parnasse-Isei high school, the physiotherapist Melanie Van Wassenhove practices at the Take'in Care paramedical center (brusselsesteenweg 159, 3080 Tervuren) and also does home visits on request of her patients. Her qualities and skills allow her to take care of sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, back pain, joint pain, neurological and respiratory pathologies in children. I am a graduate of the ISEK and specialized (IFOMT recognition) in manual therapy. I have also followed several complementary trainings. Passionate about my profession, I have specialized over the years in 2 specific areas: manual therapy and pelvi perineology. In addition to my consultations in Liberchies, I also receive patients at the Jolimont hospital, where I work in close collaboration with various doctors/surgeons. Finally, I have been teaching for a few years at the Catholic University of Leuven and at Parnasse-Isei, to physiotherapists who wish to specialize in one of these two fields.

Je m'appelle Bénédicte, je suis kinésithérapeute depuis 2009. Je suis spécialisée dans la prise en charge de la femme en globalité et plus spécifiquement dans le domaine de la pelvi-périnéologie, la rééducation autour du cancer du sein, le drainage lymphatique ainsi que la prise encharge des cicatrices. Je me suis également formé dans la prise en charge des hommes lors de troubles post-prostatectomie. Pour compléter mes prises en charges, je suis également formé en microkinésithérapie. Ce qui pourra vous aider, ainsi que les bébés et enfants, lors de stress, de problèmes de sommeil et bien d'autres. Étant moi-même artiste de cirque, je porte un intérêt particulier aux besoins spécifiques des acrobates, danseur·se·s et artistes du mouvement.

Je propose un accompagnement en kinésithérapie sportive : adaptation de l’entraînement, prise en charge des blessures, prévention, travail postural et fonctionnel.

I graduated in 2012 and continue to educate myself on a regular basis in order to stay current and provide my patients with the best possible care. I am oriented as much as possible towards evidence-based practice (practice that combines the best scientific evidence and takes into account the patient's preferences). I provide general physical therapy (orthopedics, rheumatology, neurology, cardiology, respiratory physical therapy, post-natal physical therapy, chronic pain) and help with the initiation or resumption of sports activities. Information and understanding of one's health is an important part of my practice.

Having obtained a master's degree in physical education at the Free University of Brussels, I naturally moved towards physiotherapy and rehabilitation, a discipline in which I graduated in 2022. While working, I undertook a specialization master's degree in sports physiotherapy in order to combine the two professions. This concluded positively in 2023. The different skills acquired allow me, if necessary, to offer my patients a specific rehabilitation program. Dynamic and attentive, I also take care of different types of pathology: orthopedics, traumatology, cardio-respiratory revalidation, geriatrics, neurology, etc.

Graduated from ULB in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, I welcome you in my office located Rue Edgard Tinel 30 in Anderlecht from Tuesday to Friday. Concerned about the best treatment for my patients ranging from infants to the elderly, I actively continue to train in learning new physiotherapy techniques. You can consult me ​​for all types of conditions such as general and sports orthopedic, respiratory, pediatric, neurological, cardiovascular rehabilitation as well as lymphatic drainage.
