Holder of a D.O in osteopathy obtained with Great Distinction, Jean-Philippe ORMOND completed his 6 years of studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He practices a medical osteopathy which mainly addresses dysfunctions of the locomotor system and the peripheral nervous system but also digestive or jaw problems. He treats adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body as well as human anatomy, he has coached young students at the University in order to prepare them for their exams. Approved by the Belgian mutualities. Qualified as a physiotherapist in 2013, I practiced in private practice for 5 years. I completed my skills with training in sports physiotherapy which allowed me to work within the medical staff of a football team and an indoor football team. I also have a diploma as a personal trainer with 3 years of experience in a gym. Having lived 4 years in Montreal as a therapist in a sports clinic, I was able to develop my skills in massage therapy. These new skills help me complete my overall patient care. My skills as a physiotherapist and personal trainer allow me to best support patients in their healing processes and reduce the risks of recurrence. My knowledge and experience allow me to treat a large number of pathologies affecting the musculoskeletal system (sprain, fracture, muscle damage, postural disorder, etc.). Calm and curious by nature, I will take the time to understand your needs as best as possible in order to find the best way to act on them.

Graduated with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree specializing in osteopathy at the ULB, I will see you for diagnosis and treatment manual for your pain. My training includes both a solid scientific theoretical base, as well as varied techniques, ranging from joint manipulations to so-called “gentle” techniques. I take the time to listen to you in order to understand the complexity of your clinical history and I respect your requests (phobia of manipulation, modesty, etc.).

Doctor in General Medicine from UCL, I am a very versatile approved practitioner. With two years of experience at Médecins Sans Frontière in the field, I can respond to both acute and chronic health problems. I have a particular tropism for Mental Health and have skills to take care of both the youngest patients (on-call for the National Children's Office) and the oldest (management of a hospital Revalidation service) . I am open and have knowledge in various types of Alternative and Complementary Medicine. To summarize, I would call myself an “all-terrain” general practitioner. In terms of languages, I master French and English.
