Passionnée depuis toujours par la psychologie et les mécanismes qui régissent le fonctionnement humain ainsi que les relations interpersonnelles, j’ai rapidement su que ma voie professionnelle se trouvait dans ce domaine.

Titulaire d’un Master en psychologie clinique de l’enfant, de l’adolescent et de la famille, j’ai choisi de compléter ma formation par un second Master en neuropsychologie afin d’approfondir mes connaissances et d’enrichir ma pratique.

Ces deux spécialités, étroitement liées et complémentaires, me permettent aujourd’hui de proposer un accompagnement global, centré sur la compréhension du fonctionnement cognitif et émotionnel de chaque individu. Mon objectif est d’aider les patients à mieux se connaître et à trouver des solutions adaptées aux difficultés qu’ils rencontrent au quotidien.

Je réalise des bilans développementaux, attentionnels et cognitifs à destination des enfants et adolescents. Ces évaluations permettent de mieux cerner les besoins spécifiques de chacun et d’orienter, si nécessaire, vers une prise en charge personnalisée.

Je propose également un accompagnement familial, afin de faire le point sur la situation et de vous guider vers des moyens d’apaiser les éventuelles tensions, de favoriser le dialogue et de renforcer la dynamique positive au sein de votre famille. De plus, formée au Burn-out Parental, nous pourrons discuter des éventuelles difficultés que vous rencontrez dans votre rôle de parent et trouver ensemble les moyens qui vous permettrons de vous épanouir dans ce rôle et les joies qu’il peut apporter.

My clinical training began as an intern in clinical psychology at the psychiatric unit within "Hospital General de Agudos Dr. Teodoro Alvarez" (Buenos Aires, 4years), ending up as Instructor of interns (1 year). Along the following decades, I've been working in the private medical health sector (+10 years) I consider continuous training as the basis of my clinical performance being my practice oriented by evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral treatments (CBT), and neuropsychology applied to mental health problems. During the meetings, a central place is given to defining problems, goals and approaches. As a team of work both client and therapist, work collaboratively with an active participation in the process. I´m a native Spanish speaker. I am a clinical psychologist with a master’s degree from Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), and I work with adults facing emotional difficulties, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or repeated patterns that feel hard to change. In my practice, I use schema therapy — a method that helps people understand and change long-standing patterns that often come from unmet emotional needs earlier in life. I completed my basic training in Schema Therapy with the ISST (International Society of Schema Therapy), and I’m passionate about this approach. I also have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I integrate tools from both approaches depending on each person’s needs. I aim to support people in breaking self-destructive cycles and building a more authentic, emotionally fulfilling life.

Klinik psikoloji yüksek lisans eğitimimi Brüksel'de Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB)’de tamamladım. Yetişkinlerle çalışıyorum ve terapide ağırlıklı olarak duygusal zorlanmalar, ilişki problemleri, özgüven eksikliği, depresyon, anksiyete bozuklukları ve kişilik örgütlenmesine dair sorunlarla ilgileniyorum. Terapi sürecimde temel olarak Şema Terapi yaklaşımını benimsiyorum. Şema terapi, bireyin çocukluk döneminde gelişen duygusal ihtiyaçlarının yeterince karşılanmaması sonucu oluşan ve bugün ilişkilerini, düşünce biçimini ve yaşam döngülerini etkileyen kalıpları anlamasına ve dönüştürmesine yardımcı olur. Bu yaklaşım üzerine ISST (Uluslararası Şema Terapi Derneği) onaylı temel eğitimimi tamamladım. Ayrıca Bilişsel Davranışçı Terapi (BDT) alanında da eğitim aldım ve bu iki yöntemi kişinin ihtiyaçlarına göre entegre bir şekilde kullanıyorum.

Alexandra Dimitropoulou est psychologue depuis 2023, spécialisée en psychologie clinique et en psychopathologie. Elle a étudié à l'Université Libre de Bruxelles, où elle a obtenu son master en psychologie clinique. Elle est par ailleurs certifiée en victimologie et en psychotraumatologie ainsi qu’en psychiatrie en âge de transition (16-23 ans). Soucieuse du bien-être et passionnée par l’étude et l’analyse du comportement humain, elle part du vécu singulier de chaque patient et propose des consultations psychologiques individuelles pour adultes dans le cadre de la prise en charge du burnout, des troubles de l’humeur (trouble dépressif), troubles anxieux et trouble de stress post-traumatique.
