Psychotherapist for Depression treatment in Alsemberg

Hello, I am an approved and supervised clinical psychologist, with a master’s degree from the Free University of Brussels. Trained in the impact of the COVID pandemic, in supporting people experiencing burnout and in psychological assessments, I offer follow-up in French or English to adults and teenagers. My therapeutic approach is intended to be inclusive and active both in listening and in discussions, it is part of an integrative approach and adapts to your pace. Together we create your space for speech and security in an empathetic and caring framework. In sessions, if necessary, I use various media to support expression, such as metaphors, photo-expression, role-playing, Dixit or even drawing. In person or by video conference, you choose the place that suits you best to meet. I welcome you Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and every other Saturday until 6 p.m. at my office located in the Ama Sana center, rue Borrens n° 37 in 1050 Ixelles or by video consultation .

My clinical training began as an intern in clinical psychology at the psychiatric unit within "Hospital General de Agudos Dr. Teodoro Alvarez" (Buenos Aires, 4years), ending up as Instructor of interns (1 year). Along the following decades, I've been working in the private medical health sector (+10 years) I consider continuous training as the basis of my clinical performance being my practice oriented by evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral treatments (CBT), and neuropsychology applied to mental health problems. During the meetings, a central place is given to defining problems, goals and approaches. As a team of work both client and therapist, work collaboratively with an active participation in the process. I´m a native Spanish speaker.
