My work as a sports physiotherapist covers all the pathologies associated with sporting activities, with the aim of preventing and treating injuries to joints and muscles, as well as postoperative injuries. I have a wealth of experience working in sports clubs (football, boxing, triathlon, surfing, etc.) and I help my patients to get back into shape and improve their well-being, whether they are top-level sportsmen and women or amateurs. I provide personalised treatments to help with multiple complains (musculoskeletal, articular, visceral, headache,...) and guide patients towards finding a better quality of life. I work in collaboration with my patients and will adapt to their individual needs and preferences. I always take into consideration the body as a whole including the emotional aspect. Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy.
