Passionate about the human body and how it works, I seek to understand the needs of my patients in order to respond correctly to their expectations. Trained in general and sports osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, I use my knowledge of physiology and anatomy of the human body to treat your pain. After completing his studies in physiotherapy at UCL in 2016, Valérian De Clerck continued his academic career with 5 years of osteopathy at the IAO. He has been practicing in Gembloux as a D.O osteopath since 2021. He makes a point of first considering the medical aspect of his examination of the patient, before providing an osteopathic response only if it is relevant.

Having obtained a master's degree in physical education at the Free University of Brussels, I naturally moved towards physiotherapy and rehabilitation, a discipline in which I graduated in 2022. While working, I undertook a specialization master's degree in sports physiotherapy in order to combine the two professions. This concluded positively in 2023. The different skills acquired allow me, if necessary, to offer my patients a specific rehabilitation program. Dynamic and attentive, I also take care of different types of pathology: orthopedics, traumatology, cardio-respiratory revalidation, geriatrics, neurology, etc.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance. Thanks to my experience as a dancer combined with my clinical practice, I will make every effort to offer treatments adapted to each patient according to their needs and desires, based on the best scientific evidence available. Soon after graduating as a physiotherapist at the UCL, I started studying osteopathy at the ULB, for which I obtained the degree of great distinction. One of the big advantages of this university training in osteopathy are the courses taught by the faculty of medicine, which allow us to guarantee to the patients a care in the greatest safety. These two diplomas have allowed me to acquire a certain expertise and to adopt a very complete approach in my treatments. I take care of all age groups from the new born to the elder.
