Psychologists for Accompagnement à la parentalité in Brussels

Psychologist specializing in neuropsychology. I mainly support children and adolescents with cognitive, behavioral and/or academic difficulties (ADHD, HPI, learning disabilities), as well as their parents. I also accompany university students for work methodology sessions. I carry out intellectual, attentional and/or neuropsychological assessments for children/teenagers and adults. I have a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology obtained from the Free University of Brussels in 2021, and a master's degree in Neuropsychology obtained from the University of Maastricht in 2022. I attach great importance to continuing education in order to continue to learn new things and improve my practice. I am trained in parental guidance (CPIM), in mental management and metacognition (work methodology), and I am currently completing a 2-year university course at the University of Liège in Cognitive Intervention. I worked as a neuropsychologist in a primary healthcare center in Namur in 2022 following an internship in infant-juvenile neuropsychology, and I have currently been practicing since January 2023 in a multidisciplinary neuropediatric center (La Manivelle) in Brabant Walloon. I have been working since March 2023 every Wednesday at the Mimosa-Churchill center and welcome you there with pleasure. As a reminder: any appointment not canceled at least 24 hours in advance will be billed and is non-refundable by the mutual.

Using an integrative approach that reconciles psychoanalysis, behavioral and humanistic therapies, I propose that we work together in the understanding and resolution of problematic situations. Understanding the conceptual and cultural framework of others is the basis of the work I propose to undertake. Having worked in Latin America and practicing with expatriates, I attach particular importance to language, which can bring valuable subtleties to the therapeutic work. I receive in French as well as in Portuguese. The modalities and rhythm of the sessions will be determined during the first meetings where we will be able to identify the nature of the problem. I receive clients at the Mimosa Center in Brussels on Mondays and Saturdays for individual, family or couple counselling. My consultations are aimed at teenagers, adults and elderly people to whom I offer home follow-ups if necessary. Mon parcours a été riche de diverses expériences, notamment en milieu hospitalier, dans la prévention au suicide, dans l’aide à la jeunesse et en milieu scolaire. J’aspire à vous permettre de naviguer de façon plus sereine à travers vos difficultés, à vous aider à les appréhender sous un autre regard, ceci à l’aide des ressources déjà présentes en vous ou nouvellement trouvées. Dans un cadre soutenant et au rythme qui est le vôtre, je vous accompagnerai à (re)trouver un équilibre momentanément peu ou pas accessible. Les difficultés rencontrées peuvent toucher à différents domaines tels que : la dépression, l’anxiété, les problématiques identitaires, les problématiques relationnelles, la gestion des émotions, l’estime de soi/confiance en soi, le deuil, les traumas, les plaintes psychosomatiques,...

Psychologue clinicienne diplômée de l’université Libre de Bruxelles, agréée par la Commission des Psychologues et détentrice du visa clinicien, je suis spécialisée dans le suivi d’enfants, d’adolescents et de familles. 

J’accompagne les jeunes et/ou leurs familles à retrouver de la créativité et du mouvement lorsqu’il est devenu difficile de bouger et de se penser. Mon orientation est systémique mais j’utilise aussi des outils d’autres courants et disciplines comme la psychologie humaniste, la gestalt, la TCC, le dessin ou encore le théâtre. 

Grâce à mes diverses formations et expériences professionnelles, j’ai approfondi mes connaissances sur :

– La neuroatypie (TSA, TDA/H, HP, etc) ; 

– Les troubles psychotiques ;

– Les troubles anxieux ;

– Les troubles de l’humeur ;

– Les problèmes relationnels (liés à la famille, au milieu scolaire…).
