Valentina Bancale Master

Hi, I am Valentina, an Italian-American expat who was raised in Brussels. I am a certified Sophrologist, trained at the International Academy of Caycedien Sophrology (Sofrocay), with an academic background in Public Health (Bsc), Health Psychology (Msc and PhD Research experience), and Clinical Psychology for Children, Adolescents and Families (Msc, ongoing).

I first discovered Sophrology in 2019 during my studies at Maastricht University, when I was looking for ways to manage stress. At a time when mind–body practices felt challenging to me, Sophrology stood out for its accessibility, gently bringing attention to the breath and simple movements. 

With each session, I felt a deeper sense of relaxation and reconnection, which gradually brought more ease and joy into my daily life. 

Passionate about health and well-being, I trained as a Sophrologist to share the tools that once helped me and to guide others toward relaxation, emotional balance, and overall wellness.

I support children, adolescents and adults through tailored sophrology sessions which involve breathing exercises, movements connected to the breath and positive visualisations. 

Sophrology can be beneficial for a range of challenges, including: 

• Stress management
• Emotion regulation
• Pain management
• Concentration
• Relaxation and sleep
• Event preparation (i.e. exams, presentations, sports events,..)
• Self-confidence

I offer in-person (individual and group) sessions at Réseau Amimo Orban (Avenue de Tervuren 412, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre) every saturday morning.

I also offer online consultations during the week.  

I speak English, French and Italian.
