Zaakvoerder en medeoprichter NeuroVP. Bij NeuroVP hebben we ons gespecialiseerd in de werking van de hersenen en hoe deze verwikkeld zijn met cognitie, gedrag en emoties. Zowel kinderen, jong(volwassenen) als ouderen kunnen bij ons terecht met uiteenlopende klachten. Binnen de zorg ben ik een “zij-instromer”; na een carrière in de commerciële heb ik de switch gemaakt. Alwaar ik medeoprichter en zaakvoerder ben van NeuroVP, ben ik ook nog steeds en voortdurend verder in opleiding en werk ik continu onder supervisie. Dit houdt ook in dat ik bij bepaalde problemen u meteen doorverwijs naar mijn meer ervaren medewerkers. Ik ben in de mentale zorg aan de slag gegaan nadat ik zelf een zware angststoornis overwon. Erkenning en herkenning waren voor mij daarbij zeer belangrijk, en daarom sta ik steeds open om ideeën en ervaringen hierover te delen en te bespreken. Niet als klassiek therapeut, maar als “ervaringsdeskundige”.
