I've always been fascinated by people. What they thought, did, felt... This fascination ultimately led to the development of a career that had to do with guiding people. I strongly believed (and believe) in people's potential for growth and their strength and power to process the sometimes unpleasant, negative experiences they have had and give them a place. Caroline Dekeukeleire works as a holistic therapist in her own practice Somapodia. She works in a holistic way, because the body and the mind are closely connected. Health is more than just the absence of complaints. She specialises in Schüssler cell salts, foot reflexology and Japanese facial massage. These help preventively and offer support for quality of life, recovery and growth processes, but are no substitute for regular medicine. Caroline Dekeukeleire took a course in foot reflexology in 2014 and in 2019 she retrained as a consultant in cell salt therapy. She regularly retrains herself through various workshops and courses including energetic foot massage, acupressure on the feet, ARTechniques, biochemistry according to Dr. Schüssler(cell salts) and Japanese facial massage. She is currently taking a course in myofascial core therapy.

Marie works with constellations and inner child work. Sometimes things keep blocking in life and we don't know why. This is often due to early childhood trauma. These traumas have been repressed in our subconscious, from where they rule our lives without our knowledge. I am Julie, the driving force behind the Yoga Therapy Practice in Ghent and Deinze. I create a safe place where the focus is on the therapeutic aspect of yoga. We store emotions in our bodies, which affects our autonomic nervous system. Yoga therapy channels those emotions to regain connection, safety and strength in the body. In yoga therapy I specifically focus on anxiety, dissociation, physical complaints and fatigue. Using meditation, breathing techniques and physical movement, we focus on recovery and create a setting where feeling and safety are the most important. I do this through 1-on-1 sessions and help you get back in touch with yourself and your body. I have always seen yoga as a form of healing and I want to fully express that. I work on the basis of a biopsychosocial - spiritual model that allows me to take you as a person into account in your entirety.
