I am a passionate osteopath who listens to you and takes care of your pain and loss of mobility with a scientific approach based on 6 years of study at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. I perform a rigorous history and diagnosis in order to fully understand your joint, muscle, fascia and nerve disorders. During a one-hour consultation, I perform techniques adapted to your age and your problematic. Tissue relaxation and pain relief are considered through a gentle and targeted approach.

Zoë Reynaert behaalde haar diploma osteopathie in 2016 aan de International Academy of Osteopathy (I.A.O.) te Gent. Haar interesse ontstond nadat haar moeder zich liet behandelen voor acute rugpijn. Haar rug was na vier bevallingen een zwakke plek geworden in haar lichaam. Haar doel is op een holistische manier het lichaam terug in balans te brengen aan de hand van manuele en viscerale technieken. Direct na haar haar opleiding is ze gestart met een Specialisatie in Osteopathie voor baby’s, kinderen, zwangere vrouwen en fertiliteitsproblemen. Via de Master of Science opleiding ‘Osteopathie bij kinderen‘ is ze geschoold vanuit een wetenschappelijke visie. Zoë heeft ook een bijscholing gevolg in orthomoleculaire voedingsleer.

'Een gezonde geest in een gezond lichaam' is mijn motto. Daarom studeerde ik Lichamelijke Opvoeding en Bewegingswetenschappen aan de Universiteit Gent en werkte ik drie jaar lang als fitness-trainer. Daarna deed ik de fulltime opleiding osteopathie aan de International Academy of Osteopathy te Gent. Ik specialiseer me in het behandelen van baby's en kinderen en heb daarvoor de postgraduate opleiding kinderosteopathie gevolgd aan Panta Rhei.

Ik behaalde in 1990 mijn diploma van osteopaat D.O. aan de gerenommeerde John Wernham International Academy of Osteopathy. Daarmee bouwde ik mijn osteopathiepraktijk uit en merkte ik hoe de verschillende behandelmethoden effectief het leven van mijn patiënten veranderden. Eerder had ik al een eigen succesvolle praktijk opgebouwd als gegradueerde in de kinesitherapie. En hoewel beide disciplines soms in een adem worden genoemd, zijn deze toch helemaal verschillend. Osteopathie is mijn passie door de verruimende inzichten voor mezelf maar vooral door de positieve evoluties bij mijn patiënten. Daarom volg ik ook de ontwikkelingen op de voet en specialiseer ik me - vooral in het buitenland - bij gerenommeerde instituten en universiteiten, verder in meer specifieke deelgebieden zoals: osteopathie in het craniale veld neuroanatomie het urogenitaal gebied bij gynaecologie en verloskunde kinderpathologie babyosteopathie biodynamische osteopathie …. Het onderzoeksgebied van de osteopathie staat immers niet stil en wereldwijd worden voortdurend nieuwe therapieën en inzichten gedeeld.
