Alain Degols est psychothérapeute depuis 10 ans et juriste depuis près de 25 ans. Intervenant stratégique au sein des entreprises (employeur/travailleur) et au sein des familles (conjoints, ascendants/descendants), il est spécialiste du burn-out, des conflits familiaux et des troubles liés à l'angoisse, au stress et à l'anxiété. Il est diplômé en psychothérapie systémique (IGB), titulaire d'un master en droit (UCL) et est co-fondateur du centre belge de médiation familiale. Therapy is only available in French I have been an analytically oriented psychotherapist for several years in Brussels, more precisely in Laeken. I did a 3 year training in a recognized and official organization in Belgium. I am still training today. I have done a long personal analytical work of several years. With my patients, I work in depth on the link between the crisis of the moment (what brings the patient to consult, what we call the symptom) and his history in order to be able to interrupt this cycle of repetition. At the beginning of the therapeutic follow-up, there are first preliminary interviews in order to analyze your request, to get to know you and to consider if a collaboration is possible between you and me. These interviews vary between 2 and 3 sessions, they are a first contact. They are important in the sense that they allow you to know if you feel heard. It will also be an opportunity for you and me to reflect on the therapeutic work that we will do together. I am particularly keen that the patient is an actor and active in his or her work, which I believe is a source of real progress. I listen to your symptoms while trying to understand their meaning in the moment. It goes without saying that the confidentiality of the interviews is of the utmost importance. I welcome all types of patients in psychological suffering.

Lorsque la parole est difficile, j’utilise différents outils médiateurs comme le jeu, le dessin ou d’autres supports créatifs pour faciliter les échanges et donner une place à ce que l’enfant vit intérieurement.

As a licensed clinical psychologist, my therapeutic practice is based on a holistic approach to the individual, taking into account emotions, thoughts, body, behavior, spirituality and environment. My background has given me clinical experience in various fields: chronic stress, burn-out, depression, anxiety, cancer, trauma, chronic pain and psychosomatics. The therapeutic work I propose is based on brief therapy and reassociative trauma psychotherapy (RTTP). RTP is a therapeutic tool practiced with the help of strategic conversational hypnosis used for the desensitization of traumatic events whose goal is to reassociate and rebalance the different cognitive, emotional and physical perceptions in order to decrease the traumatic load. During a session, we dialogue and co-construct in order to create the conditions of change that you want to see in your life, the objective being that you can regain control over your emotions and physical sensations. My professional and personal experience also allows me to offer you mind-body tools such as relaxation, breathing, bodyscan and yoga, and psychoeducation if you suffer from chronic pain. I invite you to express yourself in a caring, empathetic and non-judgmental listening space in order to explore together what you are experiencing and to offer you a therapeutic accompaniment that takes into account your problematic and your singularity. I offer consultations for adults, in individual interviews, going through the following difficulties - Chronic and psychosomatic pain (fibromyalgia, polyarthritis, headaches, back pain, gastrointestinal disorders,...) - Anxiety, phobias - Chronic stress, exhaustion, burn-out - Difficulties related to hypersensitivity. More generally, I accompany and support you in your personal, relational, marital and professional difficulties in order to remobilize your resources and find motivation, joy of living, self-confidence and self-esteem.
