I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree from KU Leuven, where I specialize in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on Manual Therapy for Spinal Disorders and Chronic Pain Rehabilitation. I am currently a candidate for the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy.

Additionally, I am a research assistant at Pain in Motion and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where I contribute to chronic pain research. I focus on the biopsychosocial factors and personalize my therapeutic plan depending on the needs of the patient.

I hold a Master’s degree in physiotherapy, specialising in the upper body, and I am passionate about treating patients with orthopaedic conditions, ranging from neck pain to lower back pain, including elbow tendonitis.

The physiotherapist, Frédéric Weerlitzer, specialized in orthopedics, traumatology and sports pathologies, graduated from the HELB in 2000. He has been a physical therapist at the RSCA training center since 2005. He welcomes you at the Kio Medical Center every day by appointment.

I finished my kinetic studies at the HELB in 2021. I had the opportunity to experience different facets of kinesiology. Through my internships, I have worked in the uro-gyneco, vestibular, maxillary, neuro-pediatric spheres as well as in an orthopedic physio practice. Practitioner Ayhan KARATAY is a physical therapist with a master's degree in general physical therapy from the Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci (Parnasse-ISEI). Practicing since 2018 in his private practice in Brussels (rue des Patriotes 48), he also holds a diploma in podology. You can consult him for a post-operative revalidation, orthopedic treatment, rehabilitation, back pain, kypho-scoliosis, joint problems or sports injuries.
