With 14 years experience as a physiotherapist at the foot of the Austrian mountains, I have now decided to continue my work in Belgium. 

I've continually developed and trained in the field of orthopaedics, surgery and traumatology.

I am specialised in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy and lymphatic drainage. 

I'm passionate about my work and want to use my knowledge and expertise to support and guide you in your rehabilitation. 

I'm fluent in German and English and have a good level of French, which I'm improving on a daily basis.

As a physiotherapist with a strong background in occupational therapy, I adopt a holistic approach to patient care, addressing the physical, mental, and social dimensions of recovery. My areas of expertise include:

My own journey of rehabilitation, guided by skilled physiotherapists, has motivated me to provide the same level of care and support to my patients.

My objective is to develop a personalized rehabilitation plan tailored to your specific needs and to support you at every step of your recovery. I offer consultations and sessions in both French and English.

Je prends en charge un large éventail de pathologies dans le cadre de la kinésithérapie générale, avec un intérêt particulier pour la rééducation de la main (traumatismes, post-chirurgie, troubles musculo-squelettiques) et le drainage lymphatique (œdèmes, jambes lourdes, suivi post-opératoire, etc.).

Formé en neurodynamique clinique, j’interviens également dans la prise en charge des atteintes nerveuses, telles que le canal carpien.

Passionate about sports, I hold a Master's degree in Kinesitherapy and am able to take care of all your musculoskeletal disorders (tendinopathies, fractures, muscle injuries, sprains, ...), neurological, respiratory or other, as well as to accompany you during a post-operative rehabilitation. I am also trained in lymphatic and manual drainage, and am currently training in sports physiotherapy. My consultations take place on Monday mornings, Tuesday mornings, Thursday mornings and Friday mornings at the City Clinic, Avenue Louise, and I will be happy to welcome you.

Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome. Ghjuvanni Pifferi is a physical therapist since 2019. He graduated that same year from the Haute d'École Libre de Bruxelles, with Distinction. He has also done various academic research such as those on gait biomechanics and orthopedic surgical approaches, which has allowed him to further his education. He has followed a course of continuing education in manual therapy and specializes in the field of sports physiotherapy and offers you a hollistic and complete treatment of your pathology. He is a specialist in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, sports physiotherapy and general physiotherapy (orthopedics, traumatology, rheumatology, cardiovascular, post-operative, adult respi, etc.). He has specific techniques of evaluation and treatment in order to elaborate the most optimized rehabilitation for the patient, adapted to the knowledge learned in manual therapy training. Elena Trifan, has a master's degree in physical therapy and specializes in pelvic-perineal rehabilitation. She treats all disorders of the gynecological, urological, proctological, pelvic floor and abdominal girdle. In order to ensure optimal, global and individual care, she also specializes in global postural rehabilitation (Souchard method). In addition, she deals with all problems of the maxillofacial sphere (adults) and cardiovascular disorders.
