Licensed Physical Therapist. Graduated from a master in physical therapy in 2017, my practice is focused on a manual approach, centered on the patient, his needs and his goals in order to best adjust the treatment. My years of experience in various institutions (Institut Jules Bordet - treatment of cancer patients, Hôpital Molière-Lonchamp, Centre Keops) have enabled me to acquire the ability to treat patients in a way that is adapted to each individual. I am currently studying osteopathy at the CBO (Collège Belge d'Ostéopathie)

As a passionate and approved physiotherapist, I offer quality care both in my office located on Avenue Slegers and at home. Specialized in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, respiratory and neurological rehabilitation. I offer manual therapy techniques and adapted exercises that meet your specific needs.

With a Master's degree in Physiotherapy, my recent training and my various professional experiences allow me to approach the most recent care techniques with maturity and professionalism in order to ensure an optimal functional and sports recovery in the respect, safety and well-being of the patient. The treatments cover orthopedic rehabilitation as well as respiratory physiotherapy (adult and child), geriatric or sports physiotherapy, with a particular emphasis on explaining the pathologies, treatment and prevention. I am currently training in manual therapies and I combine all my skills to help you regain or maintain your physical abilities.

Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome. For the past 10 years, he has also been a member of the teaching staff at the ULB as an assistant in charge of exercises at the Institute of Motor Sciences, and at the HELB as a training supervisor. He also practiced at the osteoarticular center of the Antoine Depage Clinic where he gained the trust of several patients. Today, physiotherapist Michel Schoonjans welcomes you in his own practice in Uccle. You can also find him at City Clinic in the city of Ixelles.
