Graduated in 2019 from a master in physical therapy at the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles, I immediately trained in sports physical therapy as well as in manual therapy (Kinesport, Kinesitherapy of the Sport Expert). I am also a physiotherapist for the soccer club Royal Racing Club Etterbeek. This has allowed me to deepen my knowledge and expertise on sports pathologies, in order to offer you an optimal treatment that will meet your different objectives. Specialized in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and overload pathologies, post-traumatic/orthopedic surgery of the lower limb (ACL, meniscal pathology...), I also have an affinity for the treatment of cervical and dorsolumbar pathologies.

Graduated from a Master in Physiotherapy in 2016, I work mainly in Manual Therapy (Australian Manual Therapy certificate) including a visceral approach and the temporo mandibular joint. I also work at the muscular level in Trigger Point, Dry Needling or with suction cups. The objective is to have a global approach to allow the most individualized treatment to meet the needs of each patient.

Passionné par mon métier et exerçant depuis bientôt 8 ans, je me suis spécialisé en kiné du sport. Je vous accompagne dans votre rééducation, dans la prévention de vos blessures, et dans l’optimisation de vos performances afin de vous aider à atteindre vos objectifs.

Je m’intéresse plus particulièrement aux pathologies spécifiques en course à pied, au trail mais également aux sports collectifs comme le basket-ball et le football. Vous pouvez me retrouver sur le terrain où j’encadre l’équipe de football du Sporting Brussels.

Suivant depuis 4 ans une formation complémentaire en ostéopathie, j’aime approcher le patient dans sa globalité afin de fournir une prise en charge ciblée et individuelle, le tout dans la bonne humeur.

With a Master's degree in Physiotherapy, I take care of all types of patients, from back and neck problems, to sports injuries, postnatal and lymphatic drainage. Do not hesitate to make an appointment in one of my two private practices located in Brussels (1000) and Etterbeek (1040).

Outre la thérapie manuelle, j’inclus au besoin dans ma pratique des techniques comme le crochetage (fibrolyse diacutanée), le dry needling ou le Mulligan.

I am specialised in runners pathologies, orthopaedic manual therapy, elbow, hand and wrist pathologies, TMJ (jaw) pathologies and headaches as well as in the treatment of musicians. I continue to follow regular professional development seminars in order to improve the efficiency of your treatment. As a sportswoman and musician since I was very young, I quickly understood the importance of a good physical condition. I am passionate about the functions and capacities of the human body, and it is with both enthusiasm and benevolence that I accompany you on your treatment journey. I also encourage you to maintain or restart your sporting activities by sharing its many physical and psychological benefits. Hardworking, thoughtful and attentive, I will adapt my practice to your requirements, your objectives and your availability.

I am an independent physiotherapist with a passion for sports and exercise. HELLO, I AM ALEXANDRU

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiotherapy, a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy from KU Leuven, where I specialized in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and Manual Therapy, and the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy.

Alongside my clinical work, I am a PhD Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and a member of the Pain in Motion Research Group. My research focuses on chronic pain, psychological factors such as anxiety, and how psychologically informed approaches can be integrated into evidence-based physiotherapy to provide more personalized and effective rehabilitation. I am also a member of the Belgian Pain Society’s Young Researchers Panel, supporting initiatives that connect and promote early-career pain researchers in Belgium.

MY APPROACH

I provide individualized, evidence-based physiotherapy adapted to each patient’s symptoms, goals, preferences, and daily life. I consider not only the physical aspects of pain, but also factors such as stress, anxiety, sleep, movement confidence, and previous experiences that may influence recovery.
