My academic career has been enriched by numerous internships in various healthcare environments, notably in nursing homes, hospitals and in physiotherapy practices. I like human contact, whether with children, adults or the elderly. I quickly discovered my passion for end-of-life support and pediatrics and I aspire to specialize in these areas to bring a more rigorous approach and greater comfort to my practice. My approach as a physiotherapist is characterized by my deep empathy, my positive dynamic, my ability to reassure patients and my rigor in my care. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the well-being and health of my patients while creating a warm and safe environment for their rehabilitation. Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy. You can find her at the Solilau medical center in Rosières, as well as at her private practice in Lasne.

Physiotherapist qualified in 2001, I followed some training to complete my knowledge but eager to know more I followed the osteopathy training of the C.B.O. I have been part of TEAM BELGIUM since 2008 and participate in various high-level sporting events such as the Olympics, YOG, EYOF, EG, WG. I like to follow, understand, support and advise patients in their rehabilitation. My focus is orthopedics and musculoskeletal injuries. I really enjoy working on the shoulders because it is a complex joint with extremely varied treatments. I take care of both athletic and non-athlete patients, adapting to the patient's requirements regarding the level of rehabilitation or rehabilitation to be achieved.

Graduated in physiotherapy from the Haute École Leonard De Vinci in 2017, I have acquired extensive experience in the management of sports injuries and musculoskeletal problems. In addition to my initial training, I followed sports physiotherapy courses in Paris, obtained a university certificate in orthopedic manual therapy at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), and followed training in physical assessment and preparation for University of Poitiers. I believe in a personalized approach for each patient.
