Systemic therapy teaches us that the symptom "says something" to members of the community (often the family and/or the social-professional milieu) in terms of changing relationships. When did the symptoms emerge? What was happening at that time in the environment, the relational context? What new events have disrupted the balance? The therapy will therefore be interested in present and past relationships in order to understand what, if anything, is being replayed in terms of adjusting emotional distances, affects that have been "affected" and that have triggered the appearance of difficulties, of "ill-being". Offering a guarantee of professional listening equipped by university training and experience is certainly important and primordial, it is the necessary condition for therapy, but in my opinion it is not sufficient. To offer a secure framework by creating a climate of confidence where the humanity which is in each one of us finds its rightful place, such is the state of mind of the consultation. A warm welcome, benevolence, kindness, empathy, non-judgment and unconditional respect for the patient's "experiences" while adopting an unconditional positive attitude towards the person, who he is, are the key words and milestones that must order the "patient-therapist" encounter.

Alexandra Dimitropoulou est psychologue depuis 2023, spécialisée en psychologie clinique et en psychopathologie. Elle a étudié à l'Université Libre de Bruxelles, où elle a obtenu son master en psychologie clinique. Elle est par ailleurs certifiée en victimologie et en psychotraumatologie ainsi qu’en psychiatrie en âge de transition (16-23 ans). Soucieuse du bien-être et passionnée par l’étude et l’analyse du comportement humain, elle part du vécu singulier de chaque patient et propose des consultations psychologiques individuelles pour adultes dans le cadre de la prise en charge du burnout, des troubles de l’humeur (trouble dépressif), troubles anxieux et trouble de stress post-traumatique.

Diplômée d'un master en sciences psychologiques à finalité spécialisée en clinique de l'adulte (UCLouvain), je propose des prises en charge individuelle. Quelle que soit votre problématique, nous pouvons en discuter.

En tant que psychologue clinicienne, je suis là pour vous accompagner tout le long de votre processus vers le bien-être émotionnel ainsi que vous soutenir et vous guider dans la compréhension de vous-même. J'apporte un soin tout particulier pour que les séances individuelles soient un espace sûr et confidentiel pour que vous puissiez explorer vos émotions, pensées, etc.

Ma pratique clinique s’appuie sur l’ICV (Intégration du Cycle de la Vie), thérapie basée sur les neurosciences. Elle est indiquée en cas de traumatismes (accident, agression, antécédents de maltraitances et de négligences précoces, …), en cas de symptômes handicapants (trouble anxieux, difficulté dans la gestion des émotions, addiction, …) ou en cas de difficultés relationnelles (deuil, conflits, faible estime de soi, …)

Formée à la psychologie du travail je peux également vous accompagner pour des problématiques d’ordre professionnelles (stress au travail, violences internes ou externes, épuisement professionnel etc…)

I am a Clinical Psychologist, accredited by the Commission of Psychologists. I graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in June 2010. I am specialized in perinatal support and parenting support. I also accompany any person wishing to work on themselves or going through a period of difficulty (bereavement, break-up, burn-out, depression, loss of employment, illness, relationship difficulties, ...) For more than ten years, I have worked in the accompaniment of children and parents in various crèches, schools and day-care centers linked to the European institutions of Brussels. These structures in which I had the opportunity to evolve welcomed a very large number of children and therefore parents, which allowed me to develop and enrich my experience in the field. My passions have always been people and their relationships. I communicate easily and I enjoy taking care of the people around me. I have chosen to dedicate my daily life to improving the quality of life of people who need it. Clinical psychologist graduated from UCLouvain, I specialize in the Person-Centered and Experiential approach founded by Carl Rogers (University certificate in PCPE at UCLouvain). My experiences in Belgium and abroad have been through contact with individuals with varied profiles, suffering from social isolation, with mood disorders or even with or without disabilities. I will support you in working through your difficulties and your personal journey. In work, among other things, anxiety, mourning, burnout, depressive feelings, isolation, search for meaning. My work is rooted in a humanist approach to therapeutic work which is expressed in the care I pay to empathy, unconditional positive consideration of the person and authenticity.

Psychologue clinicienne (ULB) et psychothérapeute (IFISAM) depuis près de 20 ans, je travaille et continue de me former selon les orientations analytique et systémique. Je reçois des enfants (dès 4 ans), des adolescents et leurs parents, ainsi que des adultes.

Je consulte pour de nombreux types de problématiques : difficultés de comportement, de développement et scolaires, anxiété, déprime, séparations difficiles, problèmes relationnels dans la famille, problématiques adolescentaires, identitaires, questions existentielles, difficultés professionnelles,...

Parallèlement à cette pratique privée, je travaille depuis une quinzaine d’années comme psychologue en milieu scolaire (tous niveaux d’enseignement et dans différents milieux socio-économiques).
