Le Docteur Serge de Fontaine est un chirurgien spécialiste en Chirurgie Plastique, Réparatrice et Esthétique depuis 1992. Il pratique les deux aspects de la discipline chirurgicale, la chirurgie esthétique et la chirurgie réparatrice. Il exerce la chirurgie esthétique dans le secteur privé, à son cabinet médical à Braine-l'Alleud et à l'Hôpital de Braine-l'Alleud (Chirec). Ses centres d’intérêt sont la chirurgie esthétique du nez, la chirurgie esthétique du visage, la chirurgie des seins et de l'abdomen, et la lipoaspiration. Il pratique la chirurgie réparatrice à l’Hôpital de Braine-l'Alleud (Chirec) et à l’Hôpital Erasme (surtout la reconstruction du visage après paralysie faciale, et la microchirurgie). De 2007 à 2017, il a été Chef de Service du Service de Chirurgie Plastique à l’Hôpital Universitaire Erasme, à Université Libre de Bruxelles. Durant cette période, il a été Président du Master de Spécialisation en Chirurgie Plastique à l’Université Libre de Bruxelles et Maître de Stage auprès du Ministère de la Santé Publique, assurant la formation de candidats spécialistes en Chirurgie Plastique de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles. Il est Maître de Conférences à l'ULB.
