Een zeer vriendelijke dokter die echt begaan is met zijn patiënten. Het was wel heel warm in de praktijk. Misschien water voorzien voor de patiënten zou wat meer comfort bieden.

Ik was mooi op tijd aangekomen voor de afspraak maar ik moest eerst al kwartier wachten tot er iemand te zien was om mij te ontvangen. Daarna heb ik nog een half uur in de wachtzaal gezeten. De ruimtes waar ik erna gezien werd lagen vol met gerief en materiaal en het was soms niet duidelijk waar ik moest gaan zitten. Over algemeen waren het wel heel vriendelijke mensen en ze handelden familiaal en zorgend. Ze wisten wel waar ze mee bezig waren en ik heb het gevoel goed geholpen te zijn.

Het was even zoeken naar de ingang en hoe aan te melden, maar wees uiteindelijk zichzelf uit. Eerst meldden we ons aan in het secretariaat, dat gebeurde quasi op het tijdstip dat ik geboekt had. Daarna mochten we wachten in de wachtzaal. Dat duurde langer dan verwacht, maar er stond een kindertafel met blokken en een leesboek, waar mijn dochtertje kon spelen. Een nieuw kleurboekje is welkom, wat er nu ligt is immers al helemaal ingevuld :) De afspraak bij dokter Van Laethem zelf verliep vlot. Hij is een correcte en vriendelijke arts.
