A loss of time and money. The doctor said he cannot be sure I have a salivary gland stone, although the stone had travelled the duct and was visible with the naked eye. Although I told him my blood tests, done at the emergency room the day before, were clear and showed no sign of bacterial or viral infection, he said I should be on antibiotics. He didn’t prescribe any antibiotics though. He wrote a prescription for an ultrasound and that was it, he didn’t try to alleviate the discomfort that had brought me to his doorstep in any way. At home, I expressed the stone myself and got rid of the problem without any qualified help, since there wasn’t any to be found. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Malheureusement, ma expérience a été décevante. J’avais précisé que c’était pour un enfant, mais le médecin ne l’a pas pris en compte avant notre venue. Il m’a informée seulement à l’arrivée qu’il n’était pas spécialisé en pédiatrie. Cela manque de professionnalisme et m’a fait perdre du temps.
