Diplômé de l’Université Catholique de Louvain avec grande distinction, j’ai à cœur d’offrir une cardiologie centrée sur l’humain, en étroite collaboration avec les médecins traitants. Ayant grandi dans le Brabant Wallon, c’est tout naturellement que j’ai décidé d’y installer ma pratique, en fondant avec un confrère le Centre de Cardiologie du Vallon (Lasne). J’exerce également à la Clinique Saint-Pierre (Ottignies), afin d’offrir une prise en charge complète et de qualité, en lien direct avec la pratique hospitalière.

Le Dr Anush Ohanyan est cardiologue à l'hôpital Universitaire Ziekenhuis Brussel, formée en cardiologie générale, avec une spécialisation en échocardiographie avancée (Diplôme Inter-Universitaire en France) et une expertise en cardio-oncologie.

Elle est certifiée en cardio-oncologie par la Société Européenne de Cardiologie (ESC).

Elle est spécialisée en échocardiographie transthoracique et transœsophagienne en 2D et 3D, permettant une évaluation précise de la fonction cardiaque, des valves et du myocarde.

Sa pratique couvre l’ensemble de la cardiologie adulte : hypertension, maladie coronarienne, troubles du rythme, insuffisance cardiaque et valvulopathies, avec une attention particulière aux patients sous traitements oncologiques.

Dr. Mihaela Vasile is a cardiologist. She specializes in general cardiology, ultrasound and cardiac pacing. She graduated in 2003 in general medicine and is specialized in general cardiology since 2014. Dr. Vasile has participated in numerous conferences and is a member of the EHRA association. Dr Elisa Christiansen obtained her medical degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where she also completed her specialization in internal medicine and subsequently in cardiology.

She currently works within the cardiology department of Iris Sud Hospitals, on the Etterbeek-Ixelles and Molière sites, where she cares for both hospitalized and ambulatory patients.

She welcomes patients at the Centre Médical Walzin for general cardiology consultations, including: management of arterial hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, cardiac rhythm disorders, pre-operative cardiac assessments, sports cardiology evaluations, cardiovascular prevention.

A cardiologist since 2013, Dr. Stancu obtained her PhD at UCL - Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc in 2018 and is currently assistant chief of clinic in the Cardiology Department of CHU Saint Pierre - ULB in Brussels. Twice a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, she has specialized in cardiac imaging techniques using echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance, for which she has obtained European certification. Her area of expertise includes diseases of the valves, the heart muscle and its arteries. The doctor performs general cardiology consultations in the office, such as: management of hypertension, heart failure and coronary artery disease, pre-operative check-ups, as well as preventive cardiology.

You can come to us for a general consultation with an ECG, ultrasound and, if necessary, a stress test. We also perform 24-hour Holter monitoring , 24-hour blood pressure monitoring and pacemaker controles. 

Doctor Awada is a cardiologist graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, he is specialized in interventional cardiology, he performs general cardiology consultations and offers you a global care. Dr. Panos Xaplanteris is a cardiologist (Deputy Clinical Assistant) at the CHU Saint-Pierre University Hospital, Brussels. He specializes in the detection and treatment of coronary artery disease, mainly by coronary angioplasty with implantation of stents (coronary stents). Le docteur Sophie Samyn est cardiologue chef de clinique adjoint au CHU Brugmann. Diplômée de cardiologie à l'ULB en 2015, elle vous propose des consultations de cardiologie pour les adultes à partir de 16 ans. Le centre médical dispose du matériel pour la réalisation d'électrocardiogramme, d'échographie cardiaque et de test à l'effort. Le docteur est conventionée.

Dr. Jean-François Argacha is head physician in the Cardiology department of UZ Brussel (VUB) since October 2013. He defended a doctoral thesis in Medical Sciences (PhD) at ULB in 2009. After training at Clinique Pasteur in Toulouse, he received his certificate in interventional cardiology from the University of Paris Descartes in 2009. His clinical activities focus both on cardiovascular prevention and the management of acute coronary care. Its technical activities target the percutaneous treatment of coronary heart disease and valve pathologies. Dr Jean-François Argacha is also an academic professor at the VUB and a lecturer at the ULB. His areas of scientific expertise are coronary physiology and the autonomic regulation of the cardiovascular system. He is also conducting research on the cardiovascular consequences of exposure to various environmental factors (atmospheric pollution, noise, temperature change, etc.).
