Psychologist Lise Stockx is part of the multidisciplinary group practice Think Outside in Gavere-Asper. She is a clinical psychologist and works with children, adolescents and adults. From an early age, she had a special interest in stories. She read one book after the other and when she learned to write in the first grade, she started writing her own stories. As she grew older, this interest developed into a curiosity about the doings of people and the stories of individuals. This was the reason for her to study psychology. You can contact her when you have the feeling that you are stuck, that you have lost your overview or that you can no longer find a thread that gives you something to hold on to (by mourning, loss, trauma, depression, ...). Together with you, she wants to look for that overview again, for new perspectives and for your thread. She does this by following your story and needs, as a travel companion with a gentle, listening ear and a great, genuine curiosity. By working creatively and experientially (for example through images, music, movement, psychodrama, ...) she makes with you the step from talking to feeling. In this way you get to know yourself in new ways and step by step we come closer to your strength. You can consider the therapy room as a safe place to experiment with this.

Clinical psychologist Griet Verhaeghe works in the group practice Think Outside. She graduated from the University of Ghent as a clinical psychologist in 2007. She has also received additional training through various courses such as a training day on intra-family violence and partner violence, the link between sexual trauma and substance abuse,... . At certain moments in our lives we question things, we bump into the same things, or we get confused. If you are looking for support, she takes the time to explore what your question is exactly, what your expectations are and where your needs lie.

I specialise in individual counselling for psychosocial questions of all kinds, but in particular for people with Turner syndrome, autism, frail elderly and dementia. During my sessions, you can expect counselling tailored to your needs and at your pace. That is, we discuss together what is the best course of action for you. Your personal experiences that come up during our conversations are the basis for my coaching as a psychologist. It is my intention to offer you a listening ear and from there increase your self-confidence and decisiveness. This allows you to go through life stronger emotionally, physically and mentally.

I truly believe that when we assume responsibility over our own emotions and are willing to make changes to feel better, committing to therapy can help us heal and grow. One of my personal strengths for my own work and development, besides my studies in psychology and multiple trainings, has been my psychotherapy process. I could invest on this journey of self- awareness and personal growth a period of four years. With these resources I can kindly give you a hand and accompany you to direct your life in the way that you wish for. Frédérique Eberhaerd, clinical psychologist graduated from the UCL, welcomes you in her office in rue Egide Winteroy 19A in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe. Thanks to her experience in psychiatric institutions, she will be able to treat anxiety disorders, emotional management, depression, affective disorders, low self-esteem, etc. She is passionate about mental health and psychological well-being.
