Clinical psychologist graduated from UCLouvain, I specialize in the Person-Centered and Experiential approach founded by Carl Rogers (University certificate in PCPE at UCLouvain). My experiences in Belgium and abroad have been through contact with individuals with varied profiles, suffering from social isolation, with mood disorders or even with or without disabilities. During my studies in Psychology at the University of Liege, I was mainly interested in cognitive and behavioral psychology as well as in neuropsychology. These studies now form the basis of my practice with an adult population. Afterwards, while working, I continued to learn and train. Among others, I continued to learn about motivational interviewing, ACT therapy, mindfulness, psycho-education, ... As for my professional career, after several years of expertise for the justice system and work on addictions as a psychologist, my skills as a neuropsychologist have allowed me to focus on supporting people suffering from Alzheimer's disease (or another disease of the same type) as well as their loved ones and professionals in the field. I am a clinical psychologist, trained in victimology and psycho-traumatology and in continuing education in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In parallel to my consultation, I work in the Mental Health Service of the Province of Brabant Wallon in Tubize with adults and adolescents. My clinical training began as an intern in clinical psychology at the psychiatric unit within "Hospital General de Agudos Dr. Teodoro Alvarez" (Buenos Aires, 4years), ending up as Instructor of interns (1 year). Along the following decades, I've been working in the private medical health sector (+10 years) I consider continuous training as the basis of my clinical performance being my practice oriented by evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral treatments (CBT), and neuropsychology applied to mental health problems.
