Étant moi-même artiste de cirque, je porte un intérêt particulier aux besoins spécifiques des acrobates, danseur·se·s, musicien·ne·s et artistes du mouvement.

Je propose un accompagnement en kinésithérapie sportive : adaptation de l’entraînement, prise en charge des blessures, prévention, travail postural et fonctionnel.

I am an independent physiotherapist with a passion for sports and exercise. My goal is to address any type of pathology in an active and qualitative way in order to achieve physical and mental well-being. In some cases, rehabilitation requires a more passive and manual approach for which I am always attentive and make room. Please do not hesitate to contact me. Passionate about perinatality and gynecology, I mainly consult for future and young mothers as well as for pathologies of the pelvic sphere, in particular endometriosis, a subject in which I am very involved with awareness and research projects. I also practice physical therapy for musculoskeletal disorders (sprains, fractures, post-operation, low back pain, neck pain, tendinopathy...) and I am specialized in the treatment of runners. In parallel to the Mimosa Center, I work at the Molière-Longchamp hospital in the orthopedic outpatient department as well as in the Therapeos practice dedicated to women (childbirth preparation, pregnancy-related pain, post-natal rehabilitation, pain and perineal disorders, sports support). In order to provide you with the most adapted and optimal support possible, I am constantly looking for new scientific and practical training and information. I will do my utmost to ensure that your rehabilitation is carried out in a climate of confidence and serenity.

Physiotherapist graduated from the Haute École Libre de Bruxelles, I welcome you on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the Centre Paramédical Upsylon. My specialties are: low back pain, neck pain, balance rehabilitation and rehabilitation after prosthesis. I can provide you with manual rehabilitation (neurological or respiratory), help you to get rid of your joint pain, your low back pain or any other pain (hand, back, neck or wrist). You can also consult me for a sports injury, for a post-operative rehabilitation or for a bone problem. My consultations are conducted by appointment in French, English or Polish depending on the language spoken by my patient. Graduated from a Master in Physiotherapy in 2016, I work mainly in Manual Therapy (Australian Manual Therapy certificate) including a visceral approach and the temporo mandibular joint. I also work at the muscular level in Trigger Point, Dry Needling or with suction cups. The objective is to have a global approach to allow the most individualized treatment to meet the needs of each patient.

With a Master's degree in Physiotherapy, I take care of all types of patients, from back and neck problems, to sports injuries, postnatal and lymphatic drainage. Do not hesitate to make an appointment in one of my two private practices located in Brussels (1000) and Etterbeek (1040).

Je suis Gisèle Michiels, kinésithérapeute et thérapeute manuelle spécialisée en pédiatrie et rééducation pour adultes. 

J’accompagne les nourrissons et jeunes enfants (0 à 18ans) en proposant une prise en charge spécialisée dans plusieurs domaines :

-      Respiratoire : prise en charge des bronchiolites, encombrements, asthmes et autres troubles pulmonaires

-      Orthopédique : prise en charge des déformations crâniennes (plagiocéphalie), torticolis congénitaux, troubles musculaires et posturaux, rééducation après une blessure,…

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree from KU Leuven, where I specialize in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on Manual Therapy for Spinal Disorders and Chronic Pain Rehabilitation. I am currently a candidate for the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy.

Additionally, I am a research assistant at Pain in Motion and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where I contribute to chronic pain research. I focus on the biopsychosocial factors and personalize my therapeutic plan depending on the needs of the patient.
