  • I’m really sorry to hear what you’re going through, it must be very difficult..
First, I want to be clear: any decision regarding ADHD treatment (stopping, restarting, or changing medication) absolutely has to be made with your doctor. I encourage you to book an appointment as soon as possible and explain how much you’ve been struggling since the treatment was stopped

Beyond medication, there are also some very interesting areas to explore:

    - Hormonal balance : fluctuations in cortisol, sex hormones, or thyroid can directly affect focus, energy, and emotional stability

    - Digestive balance and the microbiome : m

  • Did you try talking to your GP about it...? Not enough information here to explain something as broad as a life falling apart I'm afraid. Good luck.

  • Hello,

If your doctor stopped your treatment, the best thing is to ask them clearly why. Sometimes it’s not permanent, but related to prescribing rules or side effects. In the meantime, try to rely on small strategies: write down important things, set reminders, break tasks into smaller steps. And above all, don’t hesitate to seek support around you (friends, parent groups, ADHD associations).

If you ever feel truly overwhelmed or unsafe, call your doctor quickly or an e

  • Saffron shows promising potential for relieving certain symptoms of ADHD, according to recent studies. Combined with an appropriate diet (rich in omega-3, low in sugar and saturated fats), it can be incorporated into a comprehensive management approach.
⚠️ Important: these complementary approaches should be considered in consultation with a healthcare professional.

  • I’m really sorry to hear you’re going through such a tough time right now. What you’re experiencing matters, and you’re not alone.

If your ADHD medication was stopped by your GP and you’re struggling, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a mental health professional or even a different doctor for a second opinion. Your wellbeing matters, and treatment plans should work with you, not against you.

In the meantime, if things feel overwhelming, consider contacting a mental health support line, a crisis center, or an ADHD support group — many people find comfort in talking with others who understand.
