Osteopathy has also demonstrated its effectiveness in the treatment of tension headaches, which are headaches caused by lack of sleep, stress or poor posture. My personal journey made me discover osteopathy by chance. Since childhood, I have always been attracted to the medical field and the art of healing. But in a situation where conventional medicine and medications could not help me, it was thanks to osteopathy and the healing power of the hands that I was able to get better. So I wanted to study myself and learn how to “unblock” others without resorting to medication. I am also very interested in the psychological and emotional dimension of any illness, and this is among other things why I decided to take Chinese medicine courses at the same time at E.T.T.C. in Namur (I do not yet practice in this discipline). Laura Bousson is a professional osteopath since 2017. She studied respectively at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and at the International Academy Of osteopathy. Her different trainings have earned her a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation since 2012 and a D.O. Osteopathy diploma in 2017. During her training, Laura Bousson had to realize a thesis on the impact of smoking behavior on perioperative complications in physical therapy. She also completed a dissertation on osteopathic treatment in the management of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. To reinforce her skills, Laura Bousson has worked in several practices and structures. These include a personal practice in Jette BXL, Womens Medical Center, Cabinet Jasmine Leleu. She is also a teacher and assistant at the International Academy of Osteopathy. Laura Bousson is specialized in General Osteopathy, Pre- and Post-natal Osteopathy and Pediatric Osteopathy. David Léonard is a physiotherapist, specialized in sports physiotherapy. He receives you at his private practice (Sombreffe) and travels to your home.
