Orthokinesis, is the control and examinations of the posture, stability and balance of the human body in static and in movement. Indeed, any dysfunction leads to balance disorders, pain and muscular and articular constraints. Orthokinesis is aimed at people in pain as well as athletes (to improve performance and avoid injuries). How does it work? By carrying out a battery of tests and precise examinations thanks to a highly sophisticated 3D software. The solution: installation of active insoles made of carbon material, very fine and resistant, from the company Kinépod. Intelligent soles which, by restoring the mobility of the arch of the foot, correct the deformations of the feet, stimulate the proprioceptive sensors, re-educate the postures, relieve the tensions and the pains and allow (like new shock absorbers) to protect the articulations and the muscles from all the constraints imposed at the time of the various solicitations (in particular sporting) and thus to improve the performances.

Graduated with distinction from HELB in physiotherapy, I have been passionate about this profession since I was very young. My academic career has been enriched by numerous internships in various healthcare environments, notably in nursing homes, hospitals and in physiotherapy practices. I like human contact, whether with children, adults or the elderly. I quickly discovered my passion for end-of-life support and pediatrics and I aspire to specialize in these areas to bring a more rigorous approach and greater comfort to my practice. My approach as a physiotherapist is characterized by my deep empathy, my positive dynamic, my ability to reassure patients and my rigor in my care. Je m’appelle Ariane Hanquet, diplômée d’un master en kinésithérapie à l’UCL en septembre 2024, je suis passionnée par le sport, notamment la musculation et le ski, ce qui m’a naturellement conduite à m’intéresser au mouvement, à la rééducation et à la performance physique.

Kinésithérapeute conventionnée, je propose une prise en charge personnalisée et centrée sur le patient, en mettant l’accent sur la relation thérapeutique et la communication. Mon approche vise à évaluer chaque situation de manière globale afin de définir un programme de soins adapté et efficace.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance.
