Clinical psychologist, Estelle Thirifays welcomes adults and young adults for individual support in the context of various problems such as mood disorders, burn-out, addiction, emotional disorders, phobias, anxieties but also any questioning or suffering related to your personal, family or professional life. A psychologist by training, I began training in hippotherapy and animal mediation at the beginning of my master's degree. During my studies I was particularly interested in issues such as harassment, palliative care, parenthood and disability. I continue to educate myself in these different areas through various trainings. I work in a therapy center from Monday to Saturday in Chaumont-Gistoux and in parallel I participate in the implementation and supervision of the pedagogical project of the Asbl Rire et grandir which welcomes children from 0 to 5 years old. Different issues can be worked on during therapy sessions: -disability -burn-out -palliative care -support in the face of illness -mourning support -harassment -personal development

Diplômée d'un master en sciences psychologiques à finalité spécialisée en clinique de l'adulte (UCLouvain), je propose des prises en charge individuelle.

En tant que psychologue clinicienne, je suis là pour vous accompagner tout le long de votre processus vers le bien-être émotionnel ainsi que vous soutenir et vous guider dans la compréhension de vous-même. J'apporte un soin tout particulier pour que les séances individuelles soient un espace sûr et confidentiel pour que vous puissiez explorer vos émotions, pensées, etc.

Punctual, she receives her patients in a clean room for various consultations: lumbago, cervical pain, migraine, jaw problem, costal pain, stress management and back problem. She accepts children, pregnant women as well as infants. You can also consult her for an emergency.

Ma pratique repose principalement sur deux approches complémentaires :

• Les thérapies cognitivo-comportementales (TCC), qui visent à identifier et transformer les pensées et comportements sources de souffrance.
• La thérapie EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), particulièrement indiquée dans le traitement des traumatismes, du stress post-traumatique et de certaines formes de dépression.

J’accueille principalement une population adulte, mais je reste ouvert à d’autres publics lorsque la demande s’inscrit dans mes compétences cliniques.
