Je suis psychologue clinicien et psychothérapeute, spécialisé dans l’accompagnement des adultes faisant face à des difficultés émotionnelles, relationnelles ou liées à des événements de vie marquants.

Ma pratique repose principalement sur deux approches complémentaires :

• Les thérapies cognitivo-comportementales (TCC), qui visent à identifier et transformer les pensées et comportements sources de souffrance.
• La thérapie EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), particulièrement indiquée dans le traitement des traumatismes, du stress post-traumatique et de certaines formes de dépression.

J’accueille principalement une population adulte, mais je reste ouvert à d’autres publics lorsque la demande s’inscrit dans mes compétences cliniques. Mon approche se veut bienveillante, collaborative et centrée sur les besoins du patient, afin de favoriser un cheminement vers plus de bien-être et d’autonomie.

During the first consultation, I carry out a systematic history by discussing your needs and objectives with you in order to define how we could shape the journey towards your well-being. If necessary, I can also direct you to other specialized professionals corresponding to more specific or complex issues. I am registered with the Commission of Psychologists. You can therefore benefit from partial reimbursement for psychological consultation sessions, in accordance with the conditions established by your mutual insurance company. My area of ​​expertise is focused on adults, as individuals, as a couple or as a family, from the age of 18. Currently, I am engaged in continuing education to obtain the inter-university certificate in alcoholology. My clinical practice mainly involves the following themes: • depressive disorders and symptoms • relational difficulties • alcohol dependence • bereavement • suicidal ideas • anxiety disorders

As a psychologist, my approach is mainly based on individual contact with the person in difficulty, the interview and the in-depth examination of his/her situation and problems. Therapeutic solutions are then discussed with the person. The aim of the therapy is to make the patient aware of the problem(s) as quickly as possible and then to start a therapeutic process. Psychotherapy, support and counselling are exclusively individual. Psychotherapy on the theme of postnatal depression is offered in individual consultation or in group therapy. Discussion groups are offered to adolescents and their parents on the subject of school bullying.

A cognitive-behavioral psychologist, I am trained in hypnosis, sex-functional therapy and psycho-oncology. I receive clients in the following areas Assertiveness problems, anxiety disorders (panic attacks, phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder), burn out, depression, alcoholism, bullying, relationship difficulties, sexual disorders; Support in case of serious illness and bereavement; IQ tests

Mr. Jeromy Hrabovecky is a psychologist and neuropsychologist graduated from the Free University of Brussels. He specializes in emotions and mood, cognitive assessments and trauma.
