Qu’est-ce que l’ostéopathie ?

L’ostéopathie est une approche par des techniques essentiellement manuelles, qui vise à stimuler les capacités naturelles d’autoguérison du corps, tout en lui redonnant mobilité, fonction et équilibre.

Elle prend en compte l’ensemble des systèmes : neurologique, musculo-squelettique, vasculaire, tissulaire, viscéral,… qui peuvent être liés aux symptômes se manifestant parfois loin de la zone incriminée et cherche à trouver l’origine plutôt que de juste analyser le symptôme.

There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. He practices a medical osteopathy which mainly addresses dysfunctions of the locomotor system and the peripheral nervous system but also digestive or jaw problems. He treats adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies). Hello, I am a DO osteopath graduated in 2022 from the Free University of Brussels and osteopath of the federal Taekwondo team. I started studying the human body and care 13 years ago. I took my first steps in the field of health in midwifery (midwifery) for 3 years. It was a great experience, where I was able to support pregnancies, but also deliver newborns and follow their progress. 7 years ago, I reoriented myself to be able to investigate care through my hands.
